Two Questions About The Paralympics
And so the Paralympics have gone to an end, and London has said “thanks” to its heroes with a nice parade.
Everyone felt so good.
Yours truly, who is a bit cynical about some matters, would like to pose two questions:
1) Are the Paralympics athletes aware of the fact that if they were in the womb today, many of them would be aborted upon discovery they will not comply, after birth, with the desired “A1” quality standard?
2) How many of the Paralympics athletes are against abortion?
Just my two cents, of course….

Good question M. It is horrifying that fully 92% of children with Down Syndrome identified in utero, in the good ol’ U S of A, are aborted. I’m sure the figures are similar for Britain. Jerome Lejeune, whose cause for sainthood is afoot, identified the gene that causes Down Syndrome. He was aghast at what his fellow geneticists were doing with the info, and of course, was a pariah for Christ. Pray for us, Jerome Lejeune, for we know not what we do!
Thanks Susie,
I do not know the figures for Britain, but like you I have no reason to believe they should be any different.
But hey, London cuddled her disabled athletes like there’s no tomorrow. Do I smell hypocrisy and shallow desire to feel good here?
