  2. It breaks my heart to look at it and to think of those who went to this church for Mass. If more people see the filth of Islam in action–if it were to hit them where it hurts (as it has done to the Christians in Egypt and elsewhere–the burning of the Koran would seem far more appropriate than kissing it. Unfortunately, many who see the works of Islam–like this one–are quick to blame the extremists and say that the religion of Islam is not to blame. Pope John Paul II’s kissing of the Koran seems to confirm this attitude, and it makes me ill to think about it.
