Prayer Request
Ars Orandi is, as I write this, still down.
As we do not know what is happening, a good idea could be to pray.
One or three Hail Marys for Mr Werling, who has done so much for so many of us, are certainly in order.

Perfect idea. His Facebook page also hasn’t been posted on since January 7th. I pray he’s okay, and you’re right….he’s given us so very much, and on a daily basis.
One reader, on this blog or another, told that ‘The Eye of the Tiber’, my pleasure when I’m tired of “serious” things, had also disappeared these last days. I checked, and it was true. But today, trying again (as for ‘Ars orandi’), the ‘Eye’ was back, without explanation for the breakdown. So I hope still that we may get back ‘Ars orandi’ by surprise, and I’m ‘counting’ rosaries for Mr Werling for any issue which could help him. Thank’s for the tip, Mundabor.

Count away, R, count away!
I have all my rosaries “booked” for the SSPX, though… 😉

I read in a combox on another site that he ‘threw his computer out of the window’ in disgust at the Internet. I don’t know if that’s true, but anything is possible. Three Aves have been prayed for him. If it is true that he’s sick of the Internet, I pray that he will return after a break when he realizes what a force for good his site was for so many Catholics.
Fine; but why would he then even silence his own blog, one of the best things on the Internet?
Let’s hope and pray all comes to normal soon.

I read that comment too. Judging from the way it was written I would be more inclined to think it was wild conjecture rather than ascertained truth.
I mourn the loss of Ars Orandi and pray that it will soon be back up, if not for new posts, then at least for the treasure trove of old posts.
