MSM Strategy In The Age Of Urban Terrorism

The latest attack seems to have unchained a massive wave of measures meant to prevent people from opening their eyes about what is really happening. The most important ones seem to be:

1. Lavish praise of the police. Only nine minutes between the start and the end of the terrorist action. Isn't it wonderful? No it isn't. It means that even in central London a terrorist can be confident of nine minutes of rampage. The thought is terrifying, but hey, people should not think of it too much.

2. Emotional teddy bear feel-goodism. How wonderful were the people. How caring were the victims. Here, there and everywhere there are so moving examples of “we are the world” mentality. Aren't we all so, so beautiful?

3. Multi-faith nonsense. Christian clergy feeling obliged to support Muslims lest anyone should think there is something wrong in believing that blasphemous counterfeit of Christianity. This here works only because nowadays most people have no idea of what Christianity is anyway.

4. The distinction between “good Islam” and “bad Islam”. As if a slutty atheist BBC journalist knew of Islam more than the many thousand ready to die for it. It beggars belief.

These four are, if you ask me, the pillars of the War On Commin Sense now being waged by the British MSM. It I'll not work forever, but when you realise how shallow most people are in the Age of Facebook you understand it will get traction for a while.

At some point, sanity will prevail.

How many will have to die before then is the question.

  1. And they might a 5th point. Studies are being launched to determine the precipitating sociological causes for the physical expression of Muslim outrage, i.e., mass murder.

MSM sees it’s job as determining and explaining the root causes of Muslim violence in such a way that the victims themselves are responsible for it’s cause.

  2. Could not agree more. Spot on. Please pray for England. Our Lady of Walsingham Pray for us.

  3. Unfortunately this Panglossian view is not limited to the MSM, unless you lump into that description the EWTN types. Just before I read your post I had read one on NC Register which managed to incorporate all four of the above points either overtly or by implication. “We are all wonderful, London will survive” and so on. Perhaps, but likely with Arabic as the only lawful language before too long.

  4. Bill Fleetwood

Not to mention that the MSM always have a “nice Muslim” on interview to explain to us what to make of it all. ISIS must be laughing their hate-filled heads off!

  5. I know this is not technically a comment on this post, but I was wondering if there was a way to contact you. I was reading your post “The Novus Ordo and Us” and I partly agree, but I would love to be permitted to get into further discussion. I have been studying the liturgy and have begun to question the liceity of the NO Mass, but I continue (and will always continue) to attend it when the Traditional is unavailable (trusting in God’s grace to preserve me from sin in the presence of active scandal), and yet I want to learn more about the Mass in order to properly approach it no matter which form of liturgy God permits me to participate in. If you also are willing to discuss more, I would appreciate an email perhaps (still anonymous of course) through which we could talk. May God bless you Mundabor (I go by Johnette Peterson online: http://johnettepeterson.wixsite.com/prayersforpriests/about)

    • I spend enough time on this blog and do not desire to engage in further discussions. This blog has many posts about the obvious problems of the NO and why I think you should still attend it.
      Thanks for the kind words.

  6. It bears repeating: When seconds count, police are only minutes away.
