First of all, some historical perspective.
The ingerence of the secular power in the appointment of bishops is not new. Everyone who remembers his history lessons at school knows that for several centuries political power (and particularly the Sacred Roman Empire) proceeded to appoint bishops either without opposition from Rome, or with Rome's collaboration. If memory serves, the famous episode of Canossa relates, in fact, to this very question.
Coming to more recent times, we know that the Austro-Hungarian Empire (the last successor of the Sacred Roman Empire of the Germanic Nation) had a one-time “veto right” on the appointment of a Pope until that Empire lasted.
If we look at today, we know that in Countries like Germany the appointment of at least certain Bishops still requires – again, if memory serves – the seal of approval of German political authorities.
In short, it's not that either bishops are appointed by the Pope without any external influence, or the Church is dying/a fraud/not indefectible, etc.
However, what is happening in China is something completely different from the above mentioned situation.
Here, we have a communist government trying to create its own, domesticated, pro-regime church, and we see with astonishment the Vatican, literally, siding with the devil, accepting his candidates and asking orthodox bishops of the Catholic Church to step down and make place for regime puppets.
The deeply Christian countries of Europe could found their power in the appointment of bishop with the deeply Christian mission with which they felt, and were, entrusted. The Habsburgs had their veto right in consequence of their unimpeachable tradition as defenders of the faith. Even the German rules – possibly applicable in other Countries – certainly never had the purpose of allowing a Communist government to control the Church of that Country!
What is happening in China goes beyond the realm of the mediocre political decision, and clearly enters the realm of the satanical. It is not only the scale of the Country, but the ideology governing it that makes it so: an officially atheist hierarchy should have the say in appointing Christ's bishops! Again, this is beyond merely insane.
This is, once again, Francis working for Satan. Once again, the man shows his hatred for the Church by demolishing everything Catholic every time he can. The idea of defending Catholic thinking is so extraneous to him that even giving a Communist regime a huge influence over the Church in China does not faze him at all.
Satan is the Father of Lies. Francis is a petty liar. They seem to work well together.
The call has been made for Bishop Schneider to call an “imperfect council” which, according to many – and to yours truly – would be authorised to declare Francis self-deposed as pertinaciously heretic.
I agree with and like the idea, with certain conditions.
As I have repeatedly written, I think that the duty of every Bishop bad Cardinal is to condemn Amoris Laetitia, accuse the Pope of heresy, demand that he recants or call for the convocation of an imperfect council to declared him self-deposed.
However, it seems obvious to me that this imperfect council must be credible as being a true representation of the Church.
It is true that that a majority does not make the truth, and there would be no need to have a majority of bishops participating to this council. However, it can also not happen that five or six, or even ten or twenty, bishops gather together, declare Francis self-deposed and proceed to elect an alternative Pope barely noticed by the world at large and ridiculed by even most orthodox Catholics.
The Church is the Church, and if it run by a heretical Pope, well we have the same situation we had under John XXII; a Pope who, even after he announced that did not want to impose his heretical views on the entire Church, continued to believe his heresies and professed them until the day before he died. Honorius, Liberius and Formosus created similar situations. The Church has survived to this day.
The factual circumstance that sufficient numbers are gathered for an authentic imperfect council is not so important as is the witness for all future generations that, even in the darkest times, the true Catholics remained true to what had been transmitted to them. The Church does not need us to survive a heretical Pope. But it is our duty as Catholics to give witness of sound Catholicism during such times.
It makes no sense to try to dislodge Francis with a mini-concil of twelve, or twenty-five, bishops ignored by the planet. But if makes sense to start the call, and keep the call alive for as long as it takes, for numbers sufficient to mount a powerful challenge to the heretical church hierarchy: such that the next conclave (and, if necessary, conclaves) will be dominated by the fear of what could happen if the orthodox opposition gets traction and starts to become a real, powerful challenge.
It does not make sense to mount a short-term challenge that is necessarily self-defeating. It makes a lot of sense to mount a challenge echoed all over the Catholic world, starting from the blogosphere, and going on and on and on until the imperfect council happens or things improve dramatically.
The visible church will always be the true one, however plagued.
Minimi popes are not the answer. Our relentless fight for the correction – with God's grace – of this mess is.
The latest production of the Evil Clown's Catholicphobic mind is a new document giving instructions on how to better ruin Catholic faculties and other institutes of higher education, and make sure that Catholicism is substituted, for as far as practical, with the new mantras of the secular world: social justice, environmentalism, redistributionist rubbish.
The rhetoric is deafening, with a repeated call to baldness in… not being Catholic. It is, in fact, as if Francis were saying to his main audience (those who hate Catholicism) : “see? I am still your darling! I might protect a bishop enabler of child abuse whenever I like the man, or the man is loyal to me; but please look at the big picture: I am as environ-mentalist as Al Gore, as Socialist as Bernie Sanders, and every bit a bitch as Angela Merkel! You gotta love me!”
Thankfully for us, the propaganda is so open, so shameless that it does not need an intelligent reader to understand what is going on. Basically, Francis is doing the work for us and exposing himself as a faithless subversive without any need for long explanations.
This man cannot die one day too soon. Let us hope that the Lord, who is punishing us in the most fearful way for enabling 50+ years of V II-ism, will soon put an end to this utterly obscene Papacy and give us a successor that is, at least, recognisably Catholic.
It seems to me that a new breed of cardinal is being bred.
The new type of cardinal is blind, deaf and, alas, not really perceptive.
Cardinal Eijk (this is one of the thirteen and of the eleven; those Cardinals who sign letters and write books, but are nowhere to be found when real action is needed) evidently lives on Planet Three Monkeys, as he asked Francis – without, apparently, any intention to be funny – to clarify ambiguous statements in Amoris Laetitia.
The mind boggles: it is as if anyone asked Henry VIII how his beheading of Fischer and Moore has to be interpreted, because it send ambiguous signals, you know.
The strategy seems to be to pretend that one does not see reality, and hope that the faithful buy it.
Well, I don't buy it. Cowardinal Eijk is another one who is trying not to do his job.
His job is to wake up already, denounce Amoris Laetitua as heretical, and demand that Pope Francis recants or is faced with the call for an extraordinary council to put him under trial.
Everything else is of the devil.
Including this utterly ridiculous pretending that one does not understand what Pope Francis means, after an apostolic exhortation, countless public utterances, a letter to bishops and a publication of the same letter in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis so that the dumbest Cowardinal gets what is expected of him.
Enough with these pathetic hypocrites. Be a Cardinal already or resign and go back to be a priest in your parish.
The former Labour heavyweight (and separated wife of a lawyer implicated in Silvio Berlusconi sordid dealings, I do not even remember which now) Tessa Jowell has gone on TV, with an obviously advanced case of brain cancer, and has said what leftists like her to say in these things: we must spend even more taxpayer money in the failed, monstrous, Soviet-Style, abortion factory of the NHS system (and by the way, I am now off to Germany, where things are done properly).
The usual rubbish of the Secular Kingdom followed: everyone praises her “courage”, and her “I am not afraid” is now widely publicised as if it were something different from the usual political stunt and a self-aggrandisement every politician seeks with her last breath, particularly if she, as clearly is the case for Jowell, does not believe in God. And this, my dear friends, is exactly what is happening here: a widely publicised atheist death fed to the atheist society, which then praises her “I am not afraid” whilst secretly scared Obamaless of death themselves. Forgive me – or not; I don't care – for not participating in this impious spectacle.
Tessa Jowell has not mentioned, to my knowledge, God or her faith with one single word. Her Wikipedia page is silent on the matter, a clear sign that whatever parody of a faith she might have she does not want you to be informed – and her embarrassed – about it. This is also a full-fledged Friend Of Sodom, which alone speaks volumes.
Plus, and as always in the leftist-atheist society, note that it is all and always about her: I want to raise awareness, I want to let you know I am fighting, I am not scared, I show you my devastated face, I ask you to look at me.
Look. At. Me.
Atheists make of themselves their God, and of other people (particularly if they don't know them personally) minor deities of their Humanist Pantheon. The paying public of the Atheist Circus applaud. How offensive to God all this is, how selfish and self-centred and utterly impious, no one dares to remark, because in the Age Of Madness everyone must praise the “courage” of the Socialist godless activist as she dies a godless death in front of her paying public.
Well, not really ” no one”.
I do, and I tell you that Mssss Jowell is just as sadly wrong in dying as she was in living, and seems intentioned to reap the most atrocious, but well-deserved reward of her godless arrogance. She should be afraid all right, Mssss Jowell, and I can't see any trace of the beginning of wisdom in this dying, feminist harridan.
O for one leftist politician with the gut to say “the news of my impending death has forced me to revisit my priorities, and I wish to tell you that I am deeply repentant of my past life and desirous now to do only one thing: die at peace with the Lord and as a help for other faithful, and offering my suffering to Christ Crucified”.
Not holding your breath?
You see all sort of rubbish celebrated on Google. Earth day and such nonsense. You also see some “minority” religion being “celebrated” (say: Hanukkah, whatever that is…). You see all sort of secular icons also remembered. What you never see is a celebration of the number one religion on earth: Christianity.
This morning, Google “celebrates” Virginia Woolf. A lesbian, so-called “free spirit” who ended up committing suicide, Virginia Woolf obviously has great credentials with Google.
Sadly, this mentality leads to the slow erosion not only of religious feeling, but of ethics. The constant celebration – and excuse-making – for all sort of wrong behaviour makes your mainstream reader think less and less about the Four Last Things, and more and more about the “normality” of aberrant behaviour, which is then either justified as heroic or in some way praiseworthy or excused with “mental illness”, another piece of bogus science of our times according to which you can consciously decide to commit the greatest blasphemy of all but somehow it isn't your fault because you were depressed or, you know, very, very sad.
The people at Google know all this. They know it and they promote it, subtly but relentlessly. They celebrate and justify everything but Christianity, and they celebrate particularly those whose live is a testimony against Christianity.
Google is a carrier of anti-Christian germs. Avoid it and try to prefer search engines like DuckDuckGo every time you remember it.
You don't want to be at risk of infection of Google Disease.
And it came to pass the Unholy Father had to spout his own dumb, banal lies about “fake news”, as it seems there is no political issue about which this cretin thinks that the world does not have to listen to him. As expected, the stupidity of the man is mind boggling.
Fake news need discernment to be uncovered, he says. How do you discover fake news? Simple, says Sherlock: they are those news who are divisive and sow discord.
This is dumb – and.. fake news! – even for Francis' standard! Being controversial or difficult to cope with for some says nothing about it being truthful or fake. If I say that Pope Francis spreads and promotes sacrilege and heretical thinking, this may be controversial, but it is certainly not fake!
And we see here where Francis wants to have you: his criticism of “fake news” is nothing but an invitation to ignore the truest news of the last years: that we are plagued with a vulgar, short-tempered, impious, sacrilegious, Church-hating Pope doing all he can to damage Christ and His Church.
Is this controversial? You bet. But if you think that this is “fake news” you may be even dumber than Francis.
Nor does this astonishing dumb propaganda end here. The man also thinks that the role of the journalist is not merely to “break news”, but to spread news that further understanding and harmony among the people. Apart from the fact that not even a child of six is impressed by this bout of effeminate emotionalism, the consequence of the thinking is that a falsehood that encourages “harmony” (say: “Pope Francis is a wonderfully Catholic Pope and everyone loves him”) would be “good news” even if patently false. But once again, this is what the man wants: that journalists shut up about his endless gaffes and scandals because it promotes harmony.
I don't know if this man has become entirely senile because he has always been stupid and it is difficult to tell. But one must say that this level of stupidity does justify the question whether an already stupid man is being left by even that little quantity of grey matter he had.
Pope Entirely Demented would be, no doubt, a huge improvement on Pope Francis.
Cowardinal Burke has given another yadda yadda interview – he does this once every couple of weeks now – and has, very pointedly, shut up about what he intends to do considering that Francis has not answered the Dubia.
It appears to me that the answer to this is “nothing”, and that the Cowardinal will only give interviews to people who agree to not ask him when the heck he is going to whistle after wetting his lips for many months. The latest interview – no link, because a waste of time, and the Cowardinal does not deserve the time of day – is notable mostly for this: that the interviewer does not even pose the question.
This goes to show on the one side how toothless certain “Catholic” journalism is, and on the other side how dumb, or confused, or outright clericalist the mainstream Catholics are: people who, after such an astonishing refusal to stand for Christ, made much worse by the grandstanding that preceded it, are happy with the usual hot air the Cowardinal keeps dishing them instead of asking of him that he do his darn job day in and day out.
Seriously, I am done with this guy. I despise him by now almost as much as I despise Francis, and more than I do the other Cardinals who are just as cowardly as he is, but do not try to let you believe anything else.
It is bad enough when a Cardinal shuts up in the face of papal attacks to Sacraments. But when a Cardinal has made himself beautiful with the faithful posing as the guardian of orthodoxy and then blatantly refuse to do what he has announced many times he would do, this is much worse still.
Meet Cowardinal Burke. The man who announced he was ready to be a hero, turned out to be a coward, and still wants to give interviews and get a place in the sun because he once was a paper tiger.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practise to deceive…
The PR stunt of the “Francismarriage” on the aeroplane in Chile is revealing more and more elements which, alone, say a lot about this pontificate. What I remember on the spot is:
1. The two were concubines. No trace of repentance, living separated in preparation of the marriage, etc. Mortal sin as it lives and breathes. Isn't it fun?
2. The two had actually planned to marry, but an earthquake which took place in… 2010 prevented them for doing so. For more than seven years, you understand. Boy, these South American Earthquakes have quite the after effects. Cela va sans dire, the two did find the time – earthquake or no earthquake – to go live in sin and give public scandal. Cue a non-judgmental Francis not caring a straw for the Sacraments and for basic decency, as always.
3. The stunt was presented as a “spontaneous” act, but was in fact carefully planned. What a fake, hypocrite, dumb, reckless liar of a Pope we have! So fake that he lies to you in order to promote his image, so stupid that he doesn't realise his lies will be unmasked in a matter of days.
Really, how wrong can a person get something in one go? This is Guinness-worthy. The man has actually exposed himself as a cheap, stupid liar for the sake of two days' headlines! A seven – year – old with some smarts would be a better liar and, very possibly, a better Pope.
This Papacy has become like those cringeworthy spectacles in the circus of the last ocentury, those meant to make people be horrified and fascinated by the same horror they felt: the Cannon Woman, the Bearded Woman, the… Clown Pope!
I don't know for how long Francis' Horror Show will go on. But I tremble at the thought of the pit very probably prepared for this man in hell.
It has been asked in the comments whether the Papacy will ever recover from the damage Francis inflicted to it. In my eyes, when we have the right Pope the Papacy will recover very, very fast.
People feel the need for a spiritual guide. Not only Catholics, but many Christians around the world yearn for a reassuring figure guiding the, in the end, most reassuringly permanent institution in the world. Imagine a new Pius, or a new Leo, unapologetically doing what a Pope is supposed to do. We would have a Trump-like reaction: the MSM would insult the man every day, and countless millions – possibly billions – of people would emit a big sigh of relief and think to themselves: “finally!”
Also, the Papacy is not simply another political institution. Its foundation in Christ makes it more resilient to the vagaries of time and troubles of the last occupant. Whilst it undoubtedly is a political office, it is first and foremost a religious one. It is like a big statue made of silver, ready to shine again once a good polishing has been applied.
The recovery of the Papacy has never been my concern and, in fact, if it had been I would have never shot at the disgraceful behaviour of Francis the way I did all these years. My concern is, in fact, another: where is the Pius, or the Leo, we need to get out of this? In a world where a wet kitten like Burke is taken as example of orthodoxy and courage, how can the Papacy recover its attractiveness and prestige? A Pope Burke would, as things stand now, merely slow the decline as he is eaten alive by the enemies of Christ because of his sheer lack of testosterone. Benedict 2.0. If we are lucky.
We don't have any use for a Pope Burke. I can't see, in the natural order of things, any hope around me for a Pope Pius or Pope Leo.
I would gladly set for a Pope Donald, one who is tough and always ready for a fight, whatever his private shortcomings.
He would repair a lot of damage, all right.
And it came to pass the Evil Clown shot himself in the (black) boot for the, mlikely, 1547th time. When in Chile, the man defended his pal, Bishop Barros, in the usual intemperate, boorish words of his, openly accusing of slander any and all of his accusers. His words were so harsh his own chief abuse guy, Cardinal O'Malley, called them “inexplicable”. I think “sadly very explicable” is more like it.
Now, a Pope does not have to believe every accusation against every bishop. However, the kind of angry answer given by the Unholy Father (with the “is that clear?” conclusion that really says it all) is indicative of the scale of the problem we are facing here, and it is something you would never hear from Benedict.
It is, by the way, perfectly legitimate to suspect Francis of cover-up in clerical scandals whenever the culprit is a pal of his. This is a man who allows a notorious sodomite priest to run the very hotel where he lives, and promoted him to the top of the Vatican Bank!
Francis does not reason in terms of right and wrong, but in terms of friends and enemies; and, being the dim-witted man he is, he does not realise how evident this is to everyone else.
It would be better now for this old, angry, vulgar man to take his age as an excuse and just stay home, avoiding public utterances as much as his unmeasurable ego allows him. No trips, no interviews and, for heaven's sake, no aeroplanes! The time is coming fast when the expensive trips become so embarrassingly empty of faithful, and full of controversies, that not even his most ardent propaganda helpers will be able to conceal the utter failure of this radioactive Pontificate.
When your own Cardinal O'Malley calls your words “inexplicable”, basically saying that you are either a nincompoop out of control or an evil man, you know your Pontificate is on its way down and – hopefully soon – out.
And it came to pass that the Evil Clown married a couple on the airplane, between the safety announcements and a snack, to the delight of those idiots for whom a marriage is something that is better if it unusual, or “fun”, or in any way different.
The spouses were concubines, and at this point I wonder whether Francis would, if asked, refuse to marry any couple that are not already living in mortal sin. Obviously, there is no mention of the two showing any kind of contrition for their public scandal, much less living at separate adresses in preparation for their holy sacrament.
With Francis everything is like this: sacraments must be banalised, downplayed or outright attacked. Let's marry the concubines in the airplane; it is “fun” and it will make a couple of headlines!
Poor deluded ass. Poor arrogant boor. Poor, stupid chav* in white.
It is embarrassing even to us to see the man sink in a small, dirty puddle of indifference, ignored by the masses whose approval he so vainly seeks as he gets slapped in the face by newspapers thrown at him by, hopefully, faithful Catholics.
This man must be ridiculed and demolished in his reputation, if any left, without any mercy, and no matter how cringeworthy his pathetic search for attention becomes. He has deserves nothing but contempt. He deserves to have coins thrown on his coffin, the ultimate insult Italians reserve for corrupt politicians who have kicked the bucket.
The more shameful the descent into oblivion of this disgusting man becomes, the better the chance that, by God's grace, the Cardinals will give us some half decent Pope at the next attempt.
* 'Council House And Violent' . The magic of politically incorrect British English…
This is the astonishing picture of the epic failure of Francis in Chile.
Who is interested in an old, lewd, bitter ass spouting sugary nonsense or socialist drivel every time he opens that stupid mouth of his?
Who has any respect for someone constantly sabotaging the Sacraments?
When will the Vatican (and the endless choir of sycophants constantly licking his booths) admit that this old, lurid scoundrel not only does not attract, but positively repels the faithful?
This man is an embarrassment not only for the Church as a whole, but even to those who support his destructive agenda. Too vulgar, too lewd, too grumpy, too short-tempered to keep the lie of the “humble Pope” going.
The more he keeps traveling, the more we will see pictures like this one, which will couple well with the one of a more and more deserted Saint peter Square at home.
If you put a white cassock on an ass, don’t be surprised if after a while no one is interested in the show.
Hit by a newspaper.
I admit: I would have preferred a foul tomato (a better picture too on the white papal robe); still, I will gladly settle for the newspaper. Quite funny, too, seen how the mainstream press has flattered the man for now almost 5 years: Finally, a newspaper that actually is useful for something!
Still, besides the effect of an ass taught some manners by a newspaper, the fact remains that Francis' stellar incompetence has made him the target of both Catholics and anti-Catholics. His brilliant way of appointing bishops based on favours and personal symphaty, united with his propensity of keeping questionable bishops in place just because he likes them – or just because he can – is now causing fire from multiple angles.
Francis has lived for too long on the almost unlimited cachet given to him by his extremely elevated position. But he has also relentlessly worked on the demolition of his prestige; not only with his stunning incompetence and favouritism, but also with his wanting to appear one of the people, which at some point will have him treated exactly like that, including newspaper treatment. When you say to everyone that you are one of them, don't complain when they treat you like they would every other person. There are worse things that being pelted with a newspaper btw; like, say, martyrdom or prison.
Some of you might say that physical violence on a Pope is a mortal sin. Normally I'd agree. However, I would have my doubts whether this qualifies as “physical violence”. Besides, we must all admit that a Pope sabotaging the papacy in such an unprecedented way might justify unprecedented defensive actions. There has never been a Pope like this one, and perhaps the rules of engagement should take account of this.
Hated by Catholics and anti-Catholics alike.
You don't believe it?
Come on, haven't you… seen the newspaper?
Trump's decision to appear live at the US March For Life shows once again a handful of very evident facts:
1. This President is way more Catholic than the Pope. As Francis invites us to “not obsess” about abortion, Trump actually does exactly that.
2. Trump engagement in favour of the Unborn is more than a mere slogan, as such a hard pro-life profile is not sure to bring him additional supporters. This is a man of integrity keeping his word, not an Auntie Merkel saying what is convenient on the day.
3. The cowardly US Bishops relentlessly working against the most outspokenly pro-life President since the Gipper show that they do not care about the unborn, and are perfectly at ease with the pro-death agenda of the Democratic Party. This, with the excuse of their socialist-spectacled decrying of “social injustices”.
4. The unborn US babies are, mostly, legal US citizen in fieri. Too much Stars and Stripes for the Democrats and their Bishops, I suppose. They prefer to let these oppressed, innocent US Citizen (in fieri) die, and prefer instead to import illegals from (let us say this again, because repetitive iuvant) shithole Countries, who then proceed to Somalise and Haitise the US as much as they can, perpetuating the power of the Democrats in the process.
5. Thank God for President Trump.
Bishop Schneider’s French is slow, but accurate.
The entire interview is interesting, but the real meat on the grill is from 6:20, when the interviewer asks what to do if Francis does not answer the Dubia.
Bishop Schneider’s answer is clear: then it is the Bishops’ job to restore order. Note, here, that the poor man has already abandoned any hope that the two surviving Kitten may do what they promised they would.
This is followed by another intelligent question: will this, though, not engender a schism?
Again, the Bishop’s answer is very lucid, and it is a bomb: we are already in a schism of sort, he says: one in which the schismatics are in unity with the Pope, but not with Christ. What this means is obvious: the Pope is, whilst factually still in charge, in a de facto schism with all his predecessors.
The attacks to corrupt bishops that follows closes with a beautiful statement of Catholicism: it does not matter how many prelates try to peddle a false Gospel, both doctrine and discipline will never change because they are divinely instituted.
The Bishops addresses here a point that I myself, in my little sphere, have tried to make: a false doctrine is not a change in doctrine, a perverted discipline is not a new discipline.
It is important that we get these concepts right, because words are important. You must never engender in those who listen to you the impression that doctrine can be changed or discipline can become heretical. What we are witnessing now is an obfuscation of doctrine and a perversion of discipline, not their modification.
A transvestite is not a woman. He is merely a pathetic fake, a grotesque attempt at imitation.
Francis presides over a Trannie Vatican, insulting the teaching of the Church everyday as it abuses its office and allows countless degenerated to scrounge an existence at her costs.
Thankfully, the Church is indefectible, and She will survive this just as She survived the Arian crisis. An event, the latter, which, having no precedents at all, must have seemed to the contemporaries far more terrifying than even the crisis we are witnessing now.
The truthful Catholics in those times kept soldiering. We do exactly the same.
I welcome President Trump's “Shitholes” comment; and if he has not made the comment, I regret that he didn't.
One of the greatest things of this Presidency is the disregard for the increasingly more oppressive rules of political correctness, driving people to what is pure and simple denial of reality. Most sensible (not sensitive!) people would call, say, Haiti a shithole all right, and the more so when they want to make a forceful point. It needs a PC Libtard to see “racism” where the others see a simple reality. Libtards don't care for reality. They will excise from their consciousness and call “racist” every fact that threatens to destroy the stupid bubble in which they live.
This attitude is preventing us from saying things as they are in so many other areas, and when the language loses the sting the bad behaviour or bad situation is encouraged of perpetuated.
Sodomite, not “gay”. Adulterer, not “in an irregular relationship”. Perverted, not “gravely disordered”. Heretical, not “problematic”. And so on and so forth.
The refusal to call things with their own name (yes, shitholes too) is what has given us a society that encourages sodomy, has rampant adultery, think you can choose your “gender” and allow Francis to go on virtually unopposed and certainly not challenged at least by the clergy.
I look forward to more tweets like this one.
Don't want to be called a “shithole” by the President of the United States?
Try not to be one.
I have recently read, in a book supposedly friendly to traditional Catholicism, suspiciously conciliatory remarks about the situation of Jews. It is probably fitting to remind the reader of a thing or two.
There are no two Covenants in place. The call to conversion that Jesus made was directed to the Jews just as well as to everyone else. In fact, in the very first years after Our Lord's Resurrection it was considered normal for the first Christians to consider themselves Jews who – in contrast to the others – had recognised the advent of the Messiah promised to them. This feeling was so strong, that St. Peter himself – erroneously – thought that a Gentile would have to convert to Judaism in order to become a Christian (error which, as we know, was opposed and defeated by St Paul at the First Council of Jerusalem).
There is no mistaking the fact that Peter and all his contemporary taught it a grave danger to his Salvation that any Jew would not recognise Christ as Lord and Saviour. Things haven't changed just because we have a Jewish friend who is awfully nice.
The other way of seeing it is this: whilst Judaism is the matrix out of which Christianity arose, a Jew is simply one who denies the divinity of Christ and of the Holy Ghost. If you don't see in this a very grave offence to the Holy Trinity, I must question your Christian credentials.
It is, obviously, reasonable to hope that, among these Infidels – make no mistake: a Jew is not a Christian and is, therefore, an Infidel – more will be saved than among Infidels of any other religion, because of the special bond that once existed between the chosen people and God. However, we must not think that a Jew can ever be saved qua Jew, that is: in his religion, and we must make every prudent effort to convert those around us who follow this now outdated, surpassed persuasion.
This does not mean aggressive Proselitysm, nor does it mean harassing people who do not want to listen to us. It means that we clearly formulate the tenets of our faith and, when the time is right – say: when we have an interlocutor willing to listen – make clear to the Jewish friend or colleague the risks of his position.
Whilst we recognise the Davidic persuasion as the nearest to Christianity, we must also profess that this persuasion is deeply wrong and offensive to God, and clearly outside of the Christian world.
This might seem superfluous, but I thought that it had to be said, as I have the impression that here and there there might be Catholics who even consider themselves conservative but think that it is, in a way, “OK to be a Jew”.
Everyone who is not a Christian is conversion material.
There are no exceptions.
As we are living in unspeakably evil times, let us imagine that the unspeakably evil happens:
Saturday, 13 January 2017, Pope Francis solemnly proclaims ex cathedra the truth of the Sola Scriptura and Sola Fide Protestants tenets. He orders all Catholics to adhere to the new proclamation, which he very formally declares infallible in exercise of the Pope's Extraordinary Magisterium.
Can you say, then, that the Church is a fraud? Certainly not. The Church cannot be a fraud, because it is de fide that the Church is the Bride of Christ and if we declare that false we must declare the whole of Christianity false, which is an absurdity considering that the Church, sound theology and sound reasoning tell us the contrary.
Are works, in this case, not necessary anymore for salvation? Certainly not, as what was true yesterday must be true today and if I do not believe today what I believed yesterday it means that I have lost the faith, and that's that.
If, therefore, the Unspeakably Evil happens, what conclusion shall we draw?
That the Church still exists. With all her rules, traditions and institution.
And that the Sea is vacant.
This is the correct understanding of the situation. Any other interpretation leads ad absurdum, because it contradicts Catholic teaching either in one way (the Pope has the authority to change doctrine) or in the other (a pope who officially, solemnly proclaim heresy has not, ipso facto, made the sea vacant).
Obviously, such a Pope would still be, factually, sitting on the throne of Peter. But it would be only this: a de facto situation which is the fruit of abuse and usurpation, as if Napoleon had proclaimed himself Pope. We would have the duty to refuse obedience to both the usurper and everyone asking us to help him in any way, shape or form.
If the worst happens, there is still a simple, logical, coherent explanation fully in line with Catholic doctrine.
Do not lose your sleep, therefore, thinking what would happen if the Unspeakably Evil came to pass. The Church that has protected sixty generations before you will protect you, too. But she will demand that you believe in Her and in Her Truth, and in Her Bridegroom and His Promise, too. To abandon the Church when you have most need of Her (and She has most need, in a sense, to be defended by you) would be the height of pride and arrogance. But you will stand on the side of Christ and His Bridegroom, no matter what.
I have read somewhere today that the Evil Clown has invited the faithful to silence during Mass, because when one is silent one can “listen to his heart” and, more importantly, “to the Holy Spirit”.
I will gloss over the inanity and banality of the words, probably inedible by a smart child of five. What I would like to point out is the subversive message hidden behind the stupid platitudes.
If I can claim to have the ability to oh so emotionally connect to the Holy Spirit, it might not be long before I claim to “recognise” a message that goes against Doctrine. Being thus persuaded of the goodness of my heart and my Direct Line to the Holy Ghost, I can easily persuade myself of the legitimacy of pretty much everything, like living in adultery and even daring to sacrilegiously present myself at the Communion Line.
What Francis does – in that stupid, sugary, childish way of his – is to encourage his (un)faithful to the very epitome of the sin of Pride: thinking that, in the end, I know better than God.
As you laugh about the arrogance of this man and the travesty of Catholicism he peddles to the Reprobates, please reflect on the many similar ways in which your local priests might try to smuggle the same impious message.
Reality check: I cannot listen to the Holy Ghost like I listen to music, nor can you. The Trinity speaks to me through the Church given to me for my salvation. The Bride talks to me every day through her beautiful, bimillenarian message.
Do not listen to Francis. Francis is an ass, the only thing you can learn from him is how to become unbearably stupid, supremely boring and diabolically subversive. Listen to the Depositum Fidei instead, and learn to know and love Church teaching. Therein, not in your own delusions, lies the Holy Ghost.
Yesterday, Oprah Winfrey enchanted the Libtarded crowds by spouting an amazing string of third rate platitudes in front of the local Feminazi, EnviroNutcases and assorted perverts*. Apparently, it was enough to move people to tears. To tears, I tell ya!
What better candidate for the Dems in 2020 than this remarkable, remarkable woman? She ticks all the boxes, too!
Please, please, dear Libtards: give her the Nomination for 2020! We have a lot of precedents already: after Trump she does not need to have political or military experience, and after Hillary she does not need to have a Pimmel. Oprah's victory would, in fact, be immediately expropriated by Hillary herself, The Bitchy Pathfinder! Why is Oprah not 50 points ahead?
However, Oprah alone would not be enough for the Dream Ticket 2020. What we need for VP candidate is what the Democrats do so well: give the position to someone who has been the wife of a President, because Dems are people who like their women utterly self-made.
Yes, Michelle is what I am talking about!
Imagine the powerful impact of
in the ticket! The Democratic base would be so energised! Hollywood actresses would be unable to refrain their tears of joy as they all together join Oprah in conquering the White House, attracting the Presidency through the sheer power of their visualisation. The Black Glass Ceiling would crush in 2020 pieces! Oh, joy!!
Please, please do it, dear Libtards! Do not listen to the Democratic establishment, and give these two courageous women the Nomination, and may the Bern with with you !!
I for myself could not ask for better. I think it would be a-we-so-me!
Only one wish I would have.
That Mike Pence be, after two successful terms as VP, allowed to run for President, and run the Country as the perfectly decent guy he is.
*Includes the Hollywood producers and actors not yet exposed.
The Evil Clown has published a kind of hippy list of proposals for the new year. It is, as you might expect, the usual, sugary nonsense the Dalai Lama or Barack Obama might say. The first point is, rather predictably, “build bridges, not walls”.
From the socioeconomic – and, well, patriotic – point of view, it is not only allowed, but mandatory and praiseworthy that a nation preserves its prosperity and prevents indiscriminate immigration. Smart Countries will, in fact, import those who are useful to them, and will not allow them to become part of the fabric of the Country if they know that they bring a mentality not compatible with the values of their host Country: the Germans and their Turkish immigrants are a valid example, or at least were before the Age Of Madness.
More importantly, and from the religious point of view, it is our duty as Christians to avoid exposing our Continents to the evil influence of false religions, particularly Islam. As a Christian, you cannot wish Christianity to become only one religion among many or, more probably, undergo a conflict with Islam merely because you want to feel good with yourself. The defence of the Christian fabric of the West is a duty of all Christians, not an option for the right-wing fringes.
The USA in a way, but much more obviously Europe are now in such a state that Christianity is no more than a thin veneer in their social fabric. We are now in the defensive, and we must preserve what has remained of Christian values from both internal and external assaults. This state of things will remain as long as we have dumb Papacies inspired by dumb Vatican II. When the Church is strong again, she will be able to reassert her role in Europe and to vigorously expand abroad. For now, everything must be done to protect Christianity inside, and there is no need to say that preventing massive waves of Infidel immigration is the mere start of it.
Build walls, not bridges.
And pray for the end of this Pontificate.
The Commie Cardinal, His Homo “Close Friend” And The Merciful Protector Of Commies, Perverts And Thieves
Cardinal Maradiaga is, apparently, not having a gay old time as accusations of personal enrichment have reached him even as his “close friend” auxiliary bishop is accused not only of being inverted, but of having given Church money to his “intimate friend”, or friends as the case might well be. Link on Gloria TV.
One wonders how could Matadiaga not know of the gravely depraved tendencies of his “close friend”. One wonders also, if you allow me the thought, about how close this close friend is to the Commie Cardinal. One can also not avoid thinking that the inverted bishops might know things about his Cardinals that should rather remain in the closet.
Let our be yeah be yeah here: if a Cardinal has a close bishop friends that turns out to be a homo, it is perfectly legitimate – nay, it is sane – to suspect that: a) the Cardinal might be a homo or even an active sodomite, and/or b) that the “close” friend is an agent of the homo Mafia who can avoid being kicked out because he knows compromising facts about the Cardinal.
Maradiaga has, today, resigned, certainly in the previous knowledge that the Evil Clown would refuse to accept his resignation. But if he thinks that this is the end of his troubles, he is very badly advised.
What, therefore, do we have? Cardinal is a potential thief, his close friend and auxiliary bishop appears to be a homo, and the homo also appears to use Church money to… you imagine that very well.
Francis, the Merciful Protector Of Commies, Thieves, and Perverts, has come to the rescue for as long as he can.
I can't even manage to be angry, as the Evil Clown has now shot himself in the foot once again.
I Can't wait for the guy berating us again, starting from tomorrow, for being decent Catholics.
I could not trust my eyes as I first saw that Cardinal Brandmueller has given another interview about the Dubia.
Seriously, can you believe this guy?
I have not paid the man the compliment of reading further once I realised what the Cardinal has not done: officially correct the Pope and demand that he retracts or faces the call for a council meant to depose him. But I have perused the article in order to be sure that the correction is not contained therein. I intend to treat every future interview from either him or the other still living kitten in exactly the same way. It's more attention that they deserve.
At this point, it seems fair to me to say that Cardinal Brandmueller is quite happy with his actual position: trying to pose as the orthodox guy and trying to live the rest of his life getting as much press exposure as he can out of his ridiculous, unanswered, half-baked attempt at orthodoxy, even as he has no intention of doing the only thing that would justify him approaching a journalist. He is, truly, like the man who wetted his lips and never whistled, but wants to be praised for his whistling courage anyway.
This behaviour is extremely vain. Vain and shameless. Vain, shameless, and utterly inexcusable.
The Cardinal should, once it is clear that even at his age he is too cowardly to really do anything, at least have the decency to shut the Francis up and live the probably short rest of his life in shame, rather than seeking publicity as if he was a star of conservative Catholicism or even a halfway decent Prelate.
Such a cowardice, and such a vanity, and at such age.
Really, it is no surprise that this disgraceful V II generation has led us to utter chaos.
Two days ago I wrote a blog post stating, without any evocation, that I wish to see Francis dead in 2018. Resigned if needs be. But ideally, dead. Not – it is worth repeating this – because of personal animosity against the man, but because of the evil he is inflicting on the Bride of Christ, and the sustained spitting in the face of the Bridegroom his papacy daily represents.
Only two years ago, such a post would have been followed by a handful of angry comments about my lack of charity, the sweet Peter on earth and such like rubbish. Mind, I would have deleted the comments, but they would have been there in the first place.
This time, nothing. After two full days.
Your humble correspondent draws from this the rather linear conclusion that this papacy has now become such an obvious disgrace, such a permanent threat to Catholic orthodoxy, that the number of those who recoil at the idea of wishing the death of the Evil Clown is dwindling rapidly as his work of destruction becomes evident to the most obdurate Pollyannas around.
By the by, I also notice that for months now I do not recall receiving one single comment stating that Francis is well-intentioned but badly advised, or surrounded by wolves, or suck like nonsense.
This Pope is so stupid, and at the same time such an enemy of the Church, that he is possibly unwilling to see that he has gone too far, and made his relentless attacks on Catholicism so transparent, so evident as to deny their very aim: the deception of the faithful.
Still, the dumbass is so stubborn, and so childish, that he cannot refrain from his constant heretical propaganda. He truly seems a child continuing his tantrums out of sheer spite, and to show to himself that he can (he has, in fact, very weak parents; or bishops as the case may be).
When there is nothing to keep a spoiled brat in check there will be a lot of noise, confusion, and broken toys. But every protestation of the parents notwithstanding – that the child is merely “vivacious”, or “strong-willed” – everyone around clearly understands that this is a spoiled brat, and a stupid child, not kept in check by his weak, disgraceful parents.
Let me say it once again: this man has gone so far in his War on Catholicism that I am rather ready to run the risk of a Tagle or Schoenborn becoming Pope than having this old, lewd ass further defacing Holy Mother Church.
I seem to remember that Winston Churchill once made a joke to friend, at a funeral, reflecting that it is never those whom we wish dead who die.
But then again, at times he must have had his wish, must he not?
Update: 2 further Bishops have joined the original three
Three Bishops, from very remote parts of the Christian world, have published an official declaration of allegiance to the Depositum Fidei and condemnation of novelties, even if proposed or supported from the very top. There is a clear, but implicit criticism of the Pope. I cannot post the links now but they are everywhere.
My enthusiasm is somewhat limited, but this is certainly a positive development anyway. We now have three bishops instead of one openly and solemnly criticising AL's fake theology.
Three Bishops and
four two Cardinals over the entire Catholic world, with many others certainly choosing to shut up out of pure cowardice.
None of them, mind, calls the Pope a heretic. None demand that he recants or resigns or is deposed by a Council. Francis is implicitly criticised (by the Bishops; the Cardinals haven't gone beyond “doubting” as far as official pronouncements are concerned), but not in the least openly challenged. No one even openly accuses him of willingly spreading heretical, and be it that materially heretical, statements. Saying that something is wrong without addressing what this logically entails is like the doctor telling the patient what his body is doing, but stopping short of informing said patient that he has cancer.
The laity remains firmly in front in the battle against this Papacy. The bishops remain largely, with few exceptions, silent. Most Cardinals are also silent, with the faint echo of a timid meowing here and there.
Yes, this is a positive development as every time a bishop speaks and says something Catholic it is ground for rejoicing. But several bishops' conferences have expressed, albeit in less solemn terms and without the veiled accusations to the Pope, the same concept: rules can't change, and that's the end of it. Therefore, this declaration isn't earth-shattering. It is good. But we need more.
We need for our bishops and cardinals to call a heretic a heretic and let the fireworks begin. Reaffirmations of doctrinal points, or even implicit criticism of their subversion, without an open accusation and denounciation of the Pope who is clearly behind them aren't terribly helpful, merely a good start.
The surgeon does not excise a tumor by telling it that it is bad. He takes the scalpel and gets rid of it.
We need for our bishops and cardinals to do their job and call for either a retraction or the scalpel (the council). The Church has cancer and we can't just limit ourselves to state that this is different from being in rude health.
But at least, this statement goes beyond the faint meowing of the (dead or living) Kitten Cardinals.
The year now begun follows one of the most astonishing years I was given to live up to now. In fact, I often felt several decades younger as Donald Trump’s 2017 echoed Ronald Reagan’s 1981 (happily, minus the attempt on his life) in the way the world received a strong message that there is a new sheriff in town and a lot is going to change.
At my age I am accustomed to think not in years, but in historical phases spanning several, and at times very many of them; and it seems to me that a very heavy pendulum may, slowly, have begun to swing the other way.
On environmadness we are clearly advancing fast, and the end of the infamous Individual mandate is the end of one of the greatest threats to Christianity at least in the US. Already the battle about “Merry Christmas” signals a different approach and the beginning of a counteroffensive. A booming US economy will, hopefully, help Trump to consolidate his position by the Mid-term elections (I am happy with a stronger majority in the Senate for the judicial appointments; it is very rare that a president gets to keep both House and Senate, so don’t get your hopes too high that this might happen).
In my eyes, though, there are two events that might precipitate, with God’s grace, an acceleration of this pendulum in 2018.
The first one is the sudden resignation and departure of at least one of the SCOTUS Justices and its substitution for a Justice in the mold of Neil Gorsuch. Bader Ginsburg was born in 1933, Kennedy in 1936, Breyer in 1938. You do the math. Add Sotomayor (born 1954) with alleged severe diabetes issues. This is, I think, the most important front in 2018 as no one knows (though everyone can hope) that the comfortable majority that had Gorsuch elected (if memory serves 54, which is more than the Republican senators, fake or authentic) will survive the Mid-Term elections. God willing we might get an even stronger base, but you never know.
This is, I think, the most important development I can think for 2018, because a conservative majority in the SCOTUS will change the face of the US and, in time, the entire West. Put together abortion, sexual deviancy and protection of freedoms and you see what planetary effect a safe Conservative majority on the Supreme Court will have. In fact, I will go as far as to say that the stakes in the Supreme Court vastly overshadow the other fronts on which Trump is fighting (from security to economy), because with some luck he can set up the Country (and the West) for decades of sanity.
The second development I hope for 2018 is – and there is no kind way to say this – the end of the disgraceful pontificate of Francis. Whether he dies or flies off to Argentina for his own private or health reasons I do not really care, but I would still prefer for him to die already in order to avoid (at least as long as Benedict lives, which I think won’t be long) the vaguely obscene spectacle of three living present or former Popes. No, it’s better for him to kick the bucket straight. One can hope that one of his allegedly frequent attacks of rage might do the job; but hey, Deus providet.
Note here that there is no guarantee that any successor of Francis will be less atrocious than him, and the thought of a young Francis II (like Tagle) is really disconcerting. However, I am – like, I think, many of you – at such a point of exasperation that I just wish the old, lewd rascal gone, come what may. As we do with every rascal, we wish the man salvation and, making an effort, we even pray for it. But boy, let’s hope he dies soon.
There are, of course, many other things that could be repaired in 2018, but then there are always many of those. The two objectives above seem the most important to me.
Join me in praying for success on both these fronts. And please don’t be a limp-wristed whino: people die, and they die when the Lord has so decreed.
You wishing that they go out of the picture for a greater good – not out of hate for the person, but out of love for Christ and His Church – is the Catholic thing to do.
