The Sheep Are Getting Angry

FrancisStooge makes a Twitter appeal for the Peter Pence.

The reaction is brutal.

I have seen angry Twitter reactions to FrancisStooges, but this is something else.

Something is changing. Slowly, the common people start to have enough of the bunch of faithless, often perverted socialists peddling to them an alternative religion.

The tweet with the empty basket at the back of the church is likely just as indicative of the current state of affairs as the deluge of tweets saying no to feeding the wrong causes with the excuse of the Church. When this happens, it is only a matter of time before the wealthy donors (UK: say, 70% of total donation revenue) start doing the same, and then it will be Red Alert all over the Catholic Planet.

Our so-called shepherds are losing face, big time; not only with the activists, the bloggers and their readers; but with the normal people in the pews. Actually, even with the normal people outside of the pews! Millions in Italy, who don’t go to church, clearly understand by now that even Matteo Salvini is far more Catholic than the Pope. In the United States, Trump has the same effect.

Clericalism works only up to a certain point. The natural deference for the shepherds evaporates when the sheep understand that they are wolves. Yes, they get a “bonus” of credibility, and it will be a while before this bonus is spent. But when it’s gone, it’s gone.

We are slowly, but surely, getting there.

I have a dream: thousands of militant Catholics, with banners of their organisations and images of the Blessed Virgin, booeing Francis at the Angelus, or when he goes around in St Peter’s Square looking for wheelchairs to be photographed with.

Alas, for that we will have to wait a tad longer. But the rage of the sheep, tired to be fleeced even as they are abandoned, is mounting.

The sheep are getting angry.

This might change the current state of affairs quite rapidly, because the wolves want the money to keep flowing in.

  1. It’s crazy to give money to a Church whose mission is to destroy your failth.

Money talks, unlike the fires of Hell, apparently. But good news anyway. The powerless fight with the legitimate weapons they have.

  3. This is what is utterly depressing, the lack of understanding among our fellow Catholics, or the lack of caring! I noted with sadness our church’s Combined Collection of over FIFTY thousand dollars recently. FIFTY thousand. Money given no doubt in good faith by parishioners who don’t know don’t care that their pope is diabolical (come on now, why not state the obvious) and that his every move is against God and Catholicism.
This is now our job, to wake the dead, our fellow Catholics, to inform them the only possible way to affect the coup within the church is by stopping the money flow. That would get their attention, it’s the only thing we can do. money they need, money they understand. we give no money to the diocese at all, only gift cards to FAITHFUL priests, in our case, who say the Latin Rite. This is our obligation to Holy Mother Church, not to subsidize evil men who have taken her over.

  4. Not one red cent.

Btw – I’m wondering if Pope Francis is distributing “talking points”. for priests to deliver with their homilies. I’m asking because last Saturday evening I attended Mass and the priest’s homily on the loaves and fishes talked about Jesus “taking, breaking, and distributing” the bread and fishes. Today I see that PF’s Sunday sermon talked about Jesus “taking, breaking, and distributing” bread and fishes. Neither PF nor my pastor said anything about, you know, the MIRACLE that occurred. I’m wondering if PF is writing the homilies for his acolytes now. (My pastor’s also pushing open borders – can’t wait to let the basket pass me by.)

  5. Forgive me for being personal. I have been reading you for a couple of months now. I read old posts as well (?205 pages). “Upon a peak in Darien…” Thank you! I pray for you.

  6. My contribution to this parish collection for Peter Pence will be zero. Let those at the Vatican start to work and earn their own money to support themselves. This would go a long way to restoring sanity and fiscal responsibility there. I worked as a high school teacher in several schools for thirty-five years. We had priests, nuns as well as Christian brothers with teaching jobs and got paid just like the laity. This is what they should be doing. Call a long moratorium on wasted Vatican synods and meetings. Migrants too have become an exploited business for the Church, especially in America. It’s got to stop. Not a penny.

It’s not just Peter’s Pence, although that is certainly an annual bonanza for all thing Francis. Parish’s are charged by their bishop for his and office upkeep and I’m sure the Vatican charges each diocese on a monthly basis. Even the second collection, the Building Fund for the parish’s upkeep and maintenance is used if the first collection doesn’t meet the number. They’ll get their’s, one way or another even if they have to sell the property to Islam. There is always the SSPX (so far).
