Longing For The Grinch

Britain, meet your new hero..

Watch this and cry.

Some things to know:

  1. Paul Joseph Watson is right: I don’t know whom they are asking, but I can confirm that the part-time jailing of an entire Country is actually supported by a substantial part of the population.
  2. High street shops in this Country, as probably in many others, are very dependant on December. If you want to cause a massacre among high street retailers, and give big swaths of the market to Amazon, you force them to shut down in December.
  3. With few exceptions, even said shopkeepers will approve of the Government’s action whilst they are led to the slaughter, like the stupid sheep they are.

I have written about this already, but it bears repeating: the big crisis of leadership at the top is the product of a big crisis of manliness at the bottom. It is fashionable to be a soyboy. Every other behaviour would be seen as selfish.

Meanwhile, Amazon’s cash registers are singing Christmas Carols all the time. You would think the population would start counting, and would decide to think for themselves. Not happening. Make no mistake, Boris would have never dared to play Grinch unless he is sure that it pays. It is appalling to say this, but this madness appears to be what the Country wants. Don’t forget that a substantial minority in this Country has voted for a bloody Communist only one year ago.

In the end, you know what? I am doing very fine, and I do not forecast the Seppoku of the British High Street and food/entertainment industry will damage me more than very marginally, unless the geniuses start to raise taxes big time (which they likely won’t, because they aren’t that stupid). I also always saw Christmas as a religious festivity and a time for prayer, reflection, and prayer. You take the fully decorated shops away from me, it doesn’t really matter much.

But the families told that they cannot see their relatives for Christmas just a few days before, with preparations likely already underway, must be a tad more upset.

It doesn’t matter.

They will persuade themselves that it is right this way, because “mutation”…

  1. From the New England Journal of Medicine 5/21-Masks offer little protection

“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic.”

  2. Our leaders are only as good as the people they are leading. I realized this in the summer when I told a shopkeeper on a Greek island, that I thought lockdowns were stupid. She looked at me with disgust and told me that people like me are the problem.

Imagine this – I am shopping in her store, keeping her and her family alive, in a year during which their island got 70% fewer tourists than in previous years. Then she proceeded to complain that the Greek government made her spend a lot of money to make her store “Covid safe”. I stood at the edge of her counter staring at her. I couldn’t believe it.

How do you even talk to a person like this? There are hundreds of millions of people who think like this, people who have lost the use of their reason. In the same way you cannot reason with a cat or a bird, you cannot reason with them. But because our politicians are spineless, they will not go on TV and social media, and tell people NOT to be afraid. They will not explain that the virus kills few people under 80 and that life should go on as usual except for the vulnerable. No, they’ll lock down everyone, print money (i.e. issue government bonds), and pay stimulus check after stimulus check so idiots can cower inside their homes, watch Netflix all day and smoke marijuana.

Guess who will end up paying for these stupid cowards? You and me. Those government bonds pay interest to investors and that interest comes out of our taxes. All the governments are printing money. They will raise taxes. Even the idiots will find their take home pay reduced. This Greek shopkeeper will complain to me next summer about the increase in her taxes.

No, the seppuku of the High Street won’t come this year and so far, you and I are doing okay. But next year, look out! Most people even here in the USA share the Greek shopkeeper’s sentiment – better safe than sorry, they say. But why would you believe them If they’re mentally incapacitated?

  3. The goal is to separate us, one from another, in every way possible. When (if!) you dare go out you are a cypher, anonymous in your mask. You daren’t see your own kin.
The idea being to create anomie and despair, separated from each other and from God. Then the state can step in and give us a “BIG brother” to care for us… where have I heard this before?
As for all the small retail stores? Out of business. But when it was in business you could pay cash and nobody knew who or where you were or what you bought or own.
But now, on Amazon, you use your credit card. And everybody (meaning the government) has a record of what you bought, and what you have.
And the next step is a social credit card (“I got vaxccinated!”) that will allow you to buy certain things and not others, go certain places and not others, and the government will know where you are at any given moment.
Each to his needs, and no more. From each all that can be taken.
It is an essential part of the “great reset” in which individual liberty is a thing of myth for everyone but the ruling elite.
