The New Normal

Please look at this.
I don’t understand why everyone is so excited these days. It really must be some right-wing conspiracy.
Come on, man! Have you forgotten the countless people you have seen fainting live on TV in the past decades? They were all young and apparently healthy, and then they just fainted in front of the camera! Yes, it was always a thing! I think it’s because they get so emotional?
But no, everybody now sees all these people fainting live and think that it has to do with the Blessed Vaxx Who Saved Us All.
It’s the same with the discos, you know. I remember that, when I was a child, there were a lot of people dying or fainting just because they were visiting a disco! It was very common, in those days, to just faint (or die) just in the middle of the dancefloor! I think, in fact, that if you look again at “Saturday Night Fever”, the John Travolta movie of the Seventies, there were some people just fainting during the filming! In fact, you will recall that they called it “fever” because “disco fever” made you faint on the dancefloor! It’s easy, no? Fever = ill = faint.
Duh!
Also, all those people dying suddenly, who look very healthy.
Take Lance Reddick, for example. Clearly fit as a fiddle, he died “suddenly” at Sixty of “natural causes”. So what? Don’t you remember all those actors who died suddenly of natural causes in the Seventies, Eighties or Nineties?
Who, you will ask? Pppffff… too many to even remember!
It seems to me that people are being completely unreasonable here. It seems to me that a fully normal occurrence (healthy young people fainting or dropping dead) are suddenly being treated as something strange, blaming the Blessed Vaxx Who Saved Us All.
Seriously, people. I don’t know who is behind these fake news.
I blame the J6 terrorists.
And Trump. Yes, Trump.
It has to be Trump’s fault.
Failing The “Joy” Test

I keep reading about this thing with the “joy”. It looks like the church is a joy dispenser. You are Catholic, you have joy.
Here. Have some joy.
It wasn’t so when I was growing up. “Vale of tears” was more frequently mentioned than joy. In fact, people expected a lot of stuff (not only life in general, but parts of it like being in a marriage or having children) as something that, actually, will require sacrifice and cause suffering, possibly suffering extremely difficult to bear like the loss of a child. The downplaying of the sacrifice and suffering of life causes all sorts of issues, like people (and I have heard that more than once) losing the faith because of a horrible bereavement (like the above mentioned loss of a child).
They promised me joy. I got immense grief. Something’s very wrong here.
But let us stay on the joy part and let us charitably assume that all those priests who never mention the vale of tears mean, by joy, the serenity that comes from a robust hope and a solid trust in the proper working of Providence. Let us imagine that this “joy” is what causes a Catholic to walk through life knowing that Christ is in charge and will properly care for His sheep. In that case, I must lament that I have seen nothing of it during the p…p….p….ppppandemic.
Most priests have not only run to give in to the panic. Worse than that, they have amplified it, positively encouraging the sheep to obsess about it, and to keep obsessing when the world had moved on lest they look “uncharitable” or not obsessed enough with the fantasies of their sheep. I remember many months in which only myself and, at most, a couple of others dared to attend without a mask, when the world out there had largely got rid of them. This went together with the invitation to stay out of Dodge if you are single, so the family near you would not think you are intent on killing them because of your silly, selfish desire to do something as trivial as attending Mass, or with the constant parish newsletter reinforcement of how horribly, horribly bad the situation was.
“Please stay safe!!”
Thanks, I prefer to stay sane.
If all these people had had the “joy” that is so often mentioned, they would have taken sensible, reasonable precautions, but they would have gone on with their life, knowing that Providence arranges everything beautifully and going to Mass is more important to them than worrying about germs.
There was, at least in my neck of the wood, nothing like that. Those joyful people proved, when tested, extremely prone to shitting their pants, big time, and Father kept telling them their trousers can never be brown enough.
There isn’t much “joy” in going around with a diaper around one’s mouth, constantly worrying about germs, and thinking that your survival, or the one of those near you depends on a thin piece of cotton that will not stop a fart, but should suddenly stop a virus.
This “joy” stuff, as it is currently practiced, is quite pernicious. It gives people the wrong outlook on life, and does not equip them to deal with difficult times. It is, also, largely emotional and not adequate to cope with the reality of life, in which we need to constantly have in front of our eyes not only the reality of suffering, but the value and purpose of it, and the need to pray so that we get, of it, only the strictly necessary.
Still: it will not be a walk in the park. It was never supposed to be.
Actions And Words: On Post-Couf Mass Attendance.

Catholics are not coming back to church after the “pandemic”, at least in the USA.
Somehow, I struggle to be surprised.
All over the West, Catholic bishops were at the very forefront of the movement to restrict the religious liberty of their own faithful.
As so often in these disgraceful times, they sent to their sheep an extremely powerful message: worldly cares always come before Christ.
Of course, this was not said that way. When you think that Christ needs to sit at the back of the bus, you always need to look good to those you allow to sit at the front. But seriously, no one bought the “care for the elderly” stunt.
If the Bishops had thought that Christ comes first, they would have told so, first to their sheep, and then to their political class. They would have threatened to raise hell if the elementary religious freedom of being able to attend Mass had been curtailed. They would have excommunicated Catholic politicians imposing such a tyranny, and they would not have cared for what Francis says, because…. Christ comes first.
All this has not happened. The people in the pews, already confused by utter lack of proper instruction, have – confusedly, but clearly – received the message: if Mass attendance was unimportant then, why would it be important now?
Nor do the parishioners really think that, by stopping mass attendance, they are risking hell. They were never told that when they were attending. Instead, they heard all that drivel about the “joy of Christ”, making Mass look like a happy-clappy celebration of the oh so holy, and oh so nice, communiteeeeee in attendance.
Guess what? These people are now reflecting that, as they are so holy and nice, they don’t need to do something which, in fact, not even their priests and bishops consider so important.
Excuses will never be in short supply. The one will say that he prefers to sing his praise to the Lord whilst hiking over beautiful hills. The other will say that he can spend the time he was wasting in traffic talking to his son about the joooooy of Jeeeeeesus. A third will simply reflect that, if Mass attendance had been so important, the bishop would never have been so fast in telling everybody to stay home.
From the perspective of these poorly instructed people, they are not reasoning badly. They are merely building on the half lies and unspoken truths they have been exposed to for many years, and to the attitude of their pastors when they were tested.
Actions speak louder than words.
One would think a bishop knows that.
Never Forgive, Never Forget

As the harsh reality of what has happened during the Great Couf Oppression begins to emerge, there are voices calling for a “forgive and forget” attitude.
We need to keep living forever, and all that stuff.
Well, er, no.
If you want to “forgive” your baker for being a Couf Idiot, this is up to you. I personally don’t, and will keep boycotting establishments that went beyond the legal requirements. My good opinion, once lost, is lost forever. My money, too.
What is an altogether different business, however, is the public officials who embarked on this tyranny journey. They need to be trialled, their responsibility ascertained, and their complicity punished harshly. Same as for Nazism, alleged ignorance should not be an excuse.
All members of Parliaments and all Government officials who were at the forefront of measures that restricted work for people without vaccines, or kept people prisoner at home, have no place roaming the streets as free men. The same goes for those police chiefs who went beyond the legal requirements and started persecuting their own citizen. Make them spend all the time necessary in a lockdown of the other sort, behind bars. It will teach them the meaning of freedom.
This debate will, God willing, increase in the years to come, as the negative effects of the forced vaccines become more and more visible. However, to me this is not only about that, and how “bogus” the “science” was should not really be a matter of big reflection.
The main issue is the limitation of freedom, both of movement and of deciding whether to get the vaccine, and this issue would be, if you ask me, a huge elephant in the room even if the vaccines had proven wonderful.
I understand that a Government might have to take emergency measures. I understand curfews in time of war. I understand limitations to freedom after a big hurricane. These measures are reasonable, traditional, limited in time, and part of our understanding of a functional freedom framework. I even accepted the “fourteen days to flatten the curve” stuff, thinking that it would be a one-off, emergency measure akin to, say, curfew. But when the extraordinary measures are used as a pontoon bridge to inflict on us limitations of liberty for an undetermined time, and even loss of livelihood for those who do not take part in a medical experiment, then I think that jail is warranted, deserved, even sacrosanct. All this is, it goes without saying, fully independent from the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of the vaccines.
Unless harsh measures are taken, the Western freedoms will always be at danger of being trampled again: a “climate emergency” might well be next, and if the sheep keep bath-ing, “forgiving”, and “forgetting”, the danger will remain a real and present one.
Countless people, in Italy, have lost their livelihood, or had their pay suspended, because of this madness. They deserve to see their damages paid, and their persecutors in jail.
So, no; you forgive as much as you want. You bring all the fruits and biscuits to your MP as you wish.
When you visit him in jail.
Mundabor’s (Almost) Superhero Moment
At times, good news, and wise words, come from the most unexpected places.
Take this one here: The Remnant Newspaper – French General says Unvaccinated are “Superheroes”
The guy knows how to write, and it is clear that his words for the unvaccinated are heartfelt.
I am one of those. However, I do not feel a “superhero” in the least, as the kind of pushback I had to face for not being vaccinated is the kind that I shrug off in around 1.4 seconds. Sixty plus years of practice in not caring a straw for what the herd thinks have clearly come to fruition.
However, outside of the UK, where I live, the consequences for being unvaccinated have often been massive. Not only certain professions, but almost every profession has seen those employed in it risking unemployment (or losing their job, as in Italy!) for not wanting to submit to the tyranny of Big Nanny, and Big Needle.
In the UK, the consequences have been, if still tyrannical in their own way, mild. I can’t jump on an aeroplane? Screw that, I’ll see my loved ones on Teams. I can’t visit this or that place? Screw that, they’ll have to survive without my custom. I also have, like millions here in England, fought my little personal freedom battle. Mask rebellion at all times, constant counter-propaganda, and frequent, if, light-hearted, macabre jokes addressed at the vaccinated. I have, also, permanently cut off from my venue list those places who insisted in my wearing a mask, when competing establishments didn’t. “Once a Karen, always a Karen” is my motto.
However, I will never forget that the fact that the UK was spared the worst was, for sure, no thanks to Boris Johnson and his government. Boris the Clown tried to introduce vaccine passport “for nightclubs” (and the like), the usual way to get the foot in the door before the unavoidable Vaccine Dictatorship. Thankfully, people in the UK still remembered “two weeks to flatten the curve”, and did not buy the huge lie the second time. The government was inundated with protests, realised it would have faced the most massive civil disobedience ever seen in the Country, and promptly backpedaled.
This was, as Tolkien would have said, the turning of the tide.
I still basked in my little “superhero moment”; but no, I don’t deserve the title.
Those who have lost their job, most certainly, do.
The Emperor Is A Betaboy, An Idiot, And A Failed Wannabe Tyrant.

In what is the last and, most likely, final victory against the fakedemic, the British Government has decided that the last piece of tyranny that remained (the planned compulsory vaccination of care workers) will be scrapped.
The Regime wants you to believe that the scrapping is due to how good said Government is (they were very fast on boosters) and to the sudden, world-shattering discovery that Omicron is not as bad as initially advertised.
However, everyone with a brain understands that the real reason is hidden in these two numbers: 90,000+ vacancies among care workers, and 80,000+ employed care workers determined to lose their job rather than comply with their tyrannical government. In a country of 66 millions this is an awful, awful lot of people.
The extremely stoopid, extremely tyrannical clown government of Boris “bring your own booze” Johnson had to capitulate to an army of nurses and, certainly, a number of doctors, telling him in no uncertain terms where to shove it.
What does this tell me? It tells me what a shaky ground Democracy rests on in the oldest major democracy of the modern world. All safeties of freedom have failed bar the last one: the people. Neither the British Government, nor the British Parliament, much less the totally useless Crown Prosecution Service, have done anything to protect the British people from tyranny. Boris Johnson is currently being investigated by the police for parties given whilst we were all prisoners, but no one investigates him for keeping us all prisoners or half prisoners, for many months, without any respect for our freedoms.
This may seem trivial, but it isn’t. The same people who rage against Fascism accepted something no Fascist regime ever dreamt of imposing. The same people who criticise Putin fail to realise that a Government thinking it can tell you whether you can get out of your home isn’t much better than Russia’s “managed democracy”. Scariest of them all, a sizeable percentage of the British population clearly do not care for freedom, nor do they understand it, preferring instead a tyranny of the (assumed) majority in which everything at all, even compulsory mass medical experiments explicitly forbidden by human rights conventions, can be imposed on the (thinking) minority.
At the centre of this debacle and failed attempt at freedom deprivation, Boris Johnson has covered himself in shame twice. Firstly, for even entertaining the idea of tyrannical restrictions like those currently in place in Italy. Secondly, for flaunting the very rules he was imposing on us.
I doubt he will be made to resign. The rot runs very deep in the Country, and the very understanding of what it means to be free has been deformed almost beyond recognition. Plus, too many Members of Parliament do not want that the sheep start posing themselves questions about what they, the MPs, did to prevent the tyranny.
No, he will not be made to resign.
But the entire Country can now see that the Emperor is a betaboy, an idiot, and a failed wannabe tyrant.
Karen Suffers A Great Loss

In a disastrous piece of news for all the Karens and assorted virtue-signalling females of both sexes, the British Government has, yesterday, announced the imminent end of almost all restrictions concerning the couf.
If you have the couf, you will still have to stay home a while. That’s all.
No, I have said that’s all.
Please go buy a very, very small violin and play it to console all the professionals of tyranny and prophets of doom. We are free again. I know, it’s so sad for them, but hey, it’s how these things always end up in the end.
How will the Karens react? Will they give in, accept reality, and realise that they were very stupid, or criminally insane, for a long time? I doubt.
They will go through a period of grief, of course, as they mourn the loss of that very dear friend of them, fear, who had allowed them to feel so important, try to lord over us normal people, and show everybody their towering moral superiority for such a long time. It will, also, be the end of that delicious sensation, the knowledge that as they don’t have a life, nobody else should have one, either. It will be hard. However, I think they will overcome it, and devise a new strategy.
My hunch is that they will keep signalling virtue like their self-esteem depends on it, because it actually does. They will also keep covering their ugliness with their masks, silently and implicitly reproaching us, the normal people, for being so unconscionably reckless. They will not tire of warning us of more Greek letters to come, and how dangerous it is, and how terrible it was to know that their 89 years old aunt (with stage IV pancreatic cancer) had died of…. the couf! They will keep predicting our imminent demise for the fourth time, never stopping to wonder how it is that said demise never came the first three times.
Pity the Karens. Their wound will never be healed. I wonder how many of them will lose the will to leave, and die of some flu, like so many did before them. I have no doubt that, on their death bed, they will take it as vindication that they were right all the time, and that their innocent blood is on our hands.
Their tombstone will read: “Blessed Karen Of The Mask, Martyr, Died 1922 of a Broken Heart. Please wear a mask while deposing the flowers”.
I am sorry for the Karens. I really am.
Only two years of fun in their miserable lives, and now it’s all about to end.
Ironies Of Fate

A Cardinal (who appears to have been one of the better ones), Jorge Urosa Savino, has died **of Covid** at the age of 79.
It seems to me that we have, here, a rather sad “irony of fate”, to use the expression of the Evil Clown (he is not being elegantly smart, a’ la Oscar Wilde btw; the expression is extremely common in the Italian language). I am sure my readers will not deprive him of a prayer.
So, the possibly unvaxxed Cardinal Burke actually gets out of it alive, and the certainly vaxxed Savino gets to meet his Maker.
It seems like this man (I mean Francis) cannot avoid embarrassing himself at every turn as, due to the absolutely evident lack of protection given by the vaccine (and it could be worse; if you vaccinate yourself without protection you have poisoned yourself for no reason and have, very likely, lowered your immune defences; this, irrespective of other issues which might be caused by a vaccine that has been rushed out), it was only a matter of time until a vaxxed Cardinal died of the Chinese Flu.
I offer a short reflection here: the ultimate irony of fate would be if the certainly vaxxed Francis, himself, were to die of Covid.
But no, I am sure he thinks he is safe now that he has given himself the first vaccine in history that does not protect against the disease it is supposed to protect one against; and who, in order to work, allegedly needs that those who are not vaxxed also receive something that doesn’t work.
“My vaccine doesn’t work because you did not get yours” must win the prize for Most Hilarious Statement Ever.
Mind here: I am told that the American CDC has, in its website, changed the definition of “vaccine” to “include” vaccine that don’t actually work.
This, too, is another irony of fate, and the saddest of them all: that most of the populace is now ready to accept that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength, without a peep.
Scared Of Living
The delivery guys who bring me my packages tend, as a rule, to deal with me as if I was a leper. Incidentally, I wonder if they know what leper is.
Young colleagues of mine profess themselves scared of the virus. Not for grannie’s sake (grannie only needs to isolate, and Bob’s your uncle…) but for themselves. Some of them might actually even mean it, instead of looking for excuses to work from home.
Countless teachers, here in the UK, are scared not for, but of their children, and none of them approaches 80 years of age.
OK, they are mostly women.
OK, they are mostly commies.
OK, they are mostly lazy.
But I think a lot of them actually believe that rubbish.
All over the West, countless politicians have amply understood that they should have reopened their economies a long time ago, provided they really had to shut it down in the first place. But they are now all too scared, and too clearly held hostages by an evil coalition of media and pressure groups (from think tanks to their own advisory bodies) to do anything. Boris Johnson is a perfect example. He is like a guy who has distributed “laziness pills” to everybody for months, and now does not want to tell them that the time of the happy pill has to come to an end. However, it might be a bit more complex than that.
It is as if the Country were composed of the following segments: the first, now free to abandon itself to their most beloved activity: cowering at home in fear and predicting the end; another one, terrified of actually having to work; a third one, uncaring that the economy goes to the dogs provided they can stay in bed in the morning; and only a fourth one, possibly still a minority, angry at the loss of liberty and the damage for the economy, or scared for their own future.
The Prime Minister does not care for those who actually want to work and go back to normal. He does not care for those fretting for their own livelihood. He does not care for the suicides. He does not care for the most elementary freedoms. He goes on TV and lectures you on why you must be a good boy and keep being punished without complaining.
I reflected on this today, and suddenly it was clear to me why the fight to ban abortion is so far away from victory.
These people do not care for their own freedom. They are scared of even living their own lives.
Imagine how much they care for the lives of the unborn.
The Child, The Father, The President* And The Excrement
Many years ago, I was a little child.
Tiny. Defenceless. Looking for protection.
I remember, vividly, to this day, that whenever I went for a walk with my papa, my little hand instinctively searched his; or, better said, that one or two finger of his that were all I could get with my little fingers.
When my papa reached his hand (or, rather, two fingers thereof) to me, I grasped them with all the confidence of the little child. And I, so little and defenceless, proudly walked with my papa, who was big and strong; and felt safe, and reassured, and quite in my element.
I don’t know how long those walks were, because I must have been very tiny, and the speed forcibly limited. But I never remember tiring of it. I never remember fatiguing my little arm, for example, though I can still distinctly remember that my hands were so little, that they had quite a solid purchase with only two fingers of his. This is, I think, what happens when you feel, as a child, as happy as a child.
Alas, it seems to me that the same phenomenon is, on a planetary scale, and with some notable variations, going on right now, in the Age of the Chinese Virus.
It seems to me that hundreds of millions of people feel, as I write this, just like little children , and patiently wait for the big, reassuring hand of Dr Fauci, Dr Birx, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Boris Johnson, or even Dementia Joe Biden giving them (pun intended) two fingers and telling them whereto the walk leads: more lockdowns, more misery, more business closures, more quiet desperation, and more suicides.
Being little children – who never had to go through great difficulties in life, or who have forgotten them -, they grasp the two finger of Dr Fauci, or of Creepy President* Biden, and never let go. I don’t think they have much of that confident pride I had when I was walking with my papa (but then my papa loved me, and had my interest at heart); still, they have decided that it is for Fauci and Birx, for Johnson and Biden, for Newsom and Cuomo and Merkel to tell them how miserable they have to be, and they find some reassurance in this.
They seem to think something along the lines of : “I am about to enter month 12 of the lockdown; some of my friends are about to go bankrupt, and the one or other might decide to take the fast way out; but if papa Biden is telling me to walk through a sea of excrement and say nothing at all, there must be a good reason for this”.
Alas, there isn’t.
You aren’t a little child anymore.
And President* Biden is, more likely than not, papa to a drug-addicted pervert.
The Only Show In Town, Or: Meet The Aikido President
What we have experienced in the last days is nothing short of a stunning demonstration of the media power of the Media Phenomenon of this Century, Donald John Trump.
Trump gets the Chinese Virus. You would think he uses it to rest and collect his energies for the last spur of this, likely victorious election. This is what, frankly, I would have done.
But Trump is just an extraordinary media guy. His supersized brain starts to think about how to use the forced pause, and make it work for him.
When he has to go to the hospital – a prudent, and very wise decision – he does so as a strong man, walking to the helicopter, and leaving a TV message to the Country before going. A great message of strength and statesmanship. Also, a message of manliness, meant to engender in his viewers comparisons with the old, frail, bumbling Creepy Joe.
Once in, he immediately starts to think how he can use the madness of the rabid left against themselves. Just as the Leftist start to spin their fantasies of a rapidly worsening, perhaps dying President, he puts out a video showing him in a very good shape (for a 74 years old with a nasty flu; operative words here are nasty flu) and destroys the narrative with a show of rugged resilience.
Then, the first Meisterwerk: the SUV run. Make no mistake: when Trump decided to go for the run, he knew that the Left would find some reason to be outraged, and did it anyway. In fact, I think that he did it – besides wanting to thank his supporters – exactly in order to cause a collective leftist meltdown. Punctually, the left covered themselves in manure accusing Trump of endangering the same people that are near him 24/7. Boy, are these people dumb.
At this point, Trump had lived in everybody’s head – particularly the libtards’ heads – for two days already. Biden was totally cancelled; gone; forgotten; a pathetic non-entity forced to give way to the only person the Planet loved talking about, one way or the other: Donald John Trump.
Yesterday, the President executed another masterful move: the return to the White House, with the grand, solemn, public taking away (almost a ripping out) of the mask, for all the world to see, and the strong, manly, sane message about the Chinese Virus many people, like yours truly, have been repeating for months.
Again, the entire world had to watch, love, hate, criticise, adore; but in the end, no one could be indifferent. Once again, this great Media Master had the planet in his spell. Once again, he knew that his gesture would be controversial, and that the Left would find some way to criticise him, making themselves a laughing stock in the process.
An obvious comparison is the one with Aikido, a self-defense discipline by which the energy of the attacker is used against him, causing the latter – if the attacked person so wants – extremely serious damage as the attacker’s energy leads to the breaking of his own tendons, etc.
Another spontaneous comparison is the one with an instrument player.
Trump plays the media like Paganini played the violin.
But Paganini’s violin did not hate him. The press hates Trump with a passion. And still, they are addicted to him; they can’t live without him; they are damned to make their entire existence about him. He plays them like a violin; and they can’t avoid being played, because they live of just that.
Truly, this guy is without equals.
The Chinese Virus And The Abuse Of Catholicism
I can’t find the link anymore, but I am so angry I will write about this anyway. Some clergyman (possibly a Bishop) published an image of the Blessed Virgin and Child… with a mask.
This is wrong – actually, repulsive – in so many ways.
First of all, at least from a logical point of view: The Child is God, besides being Human. He will not infect anyone. He cannot, CAN NOT, be the source of any disease He does not want to spread. The God that raised Lazarus from the tomb cannot be put on a par with some child who could be in danger of either infecting or being infected.
Secondly: the Blessed Virgin. An image suggesting that the Blessed Virgin fears contagion, possibly at the hands of her own Holy Child, is nothing short of blasphemous.
Which leads us to the main point: the abuse of the Christian religion to further a worldly agenda. The reason why we immediately perceive such an image as “off” is, most likely, not directly related to the Divinely bestowed qualities of Our Lord or of the Blessed Virgin. It is the immediate, obvious feeling that Christianity – and Catholicism in particular – is being gravely abused for an ideology that is nothing to do with it.
This Bishop has clearly lost the faith. He has likely been accustomed for many years now to mix Catholicism with some empty, godless, social-justice, feel-good stuff. This has gone so far, that he will not hesitate to put the Blessed Virgin and Child in a mask, likely thinking, in his godlessness and lack of faith, that he is sending out some “positive” message.
He is sending out the message that he is an idiot who has lost his faith and should be removed, that’s what he is sending out.
Please correct me if there is no Bishop involved, and I am grateful for any link.
Still: whoever did this may feel good breathing in his damn mask; but when he dies, he might have bigger problems.
Man Up And Get Rid Of The Fear
Man Up And Get Rid Of The Fear
Please forward this however you can.
Predictably, the Uber Nazi Nannies are censoring this.
I hope Trump and his men take notice of the way big corporations are openly, shamelessly trying to dictate what the public should hear.
Employment Data And Subversion Strategies
The employment data for June are out. Alas, they are very bad news for the Democrats. At this pace, I think by the end of October things will look fine indeed.
The Dems will certainly not allow this. Economic recovery is pure poison for them. Their plan has obviously been, for months now, to create vast economic misery staying in the way of Trump’s reelection. We know they don’t care about the Country. What will they do?
I think they will try the following:
Fauci-ism Offensive.
Expect more space given to a man who wasn’t shy of attention one day in his life. Fauci will tell us that things are going to get very bad, unless Governors castrate the economy again. This time, he will have a much more difficult job. Peter and the Wolf come to mind. There might be local closures for a while, but as a whole, I would say that Republicans states have had enough.
Riot Offensive
Dems will keep pushing the rioting, burning, and disrupting of the economy. They will say J-J-J-Justice is more important than the economy. Plus, all those people around will spread the virus in its last legs, helping them to push more Fauci-ism down your throat. I think they will avoid Autonomous Zones this time; but the more Molotov cocktails, the better. It will be, as always, Trump’s fault.
Propaganda offensive
Expect more rubbish from the MSMs and the “polling agencies”. Biden in front 14%, 15%, 34%, 71%. Trump at 3% or so probability of victory. “Unnamed” discouraged Republican representatives (very likely, Mitt Romney). Trump possibly resigning before the election (this I have really read a week or so ago! I had to check the date to make sure it was not written just after the tape…. It was not!). There is really no limit to the shamelessness of these people. But it makes them look good with their Facebook friends, you see….
Barking Offensive
Relentless insults at Trump. Accusations of racism, white Supremacism, robbing of old women, and slaughtering of cute kitten. “Fine people hoax” like there is no tomorrow. If all else fails, screaming like that ugly woman (if such it was) at his inauguration.
Mind, I think they will fail.
But they will try. They don’t mind what kind of damage they inflict on their Country.
Getting rid of Trump is the only thing they care for.
Second Lockdown: I Hope Trump Reads This Article (He Might Have To Get Rid Of Jaranka First)
The article is here.
It is very informative, extremely detailed, and very thorough in its analysis.
I suggest all of my readers with time and inclination to read the thing in its entirety, and then forward it to whomever they know, post it on their Facebook page (if any), retweet, etc.
Spread the sanity.
The article is a comprehensive examination of all the major issues revolving around the Chinese Virus. It has contains a lot of information about how the stats are now describing a completely different situation from the one in February-March.
It also has a clear, convincing explanation as to why there will not be a second wave of magnitude even remotely comparable to the first.
Basically, the job is almost done. There is no need to keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Those who advocate it want to hit Trump, and the US economy be damned.
One would think that such robust arguments, fruit of facts instead of scaremongering and “forecasts” of politically motivated activists masked as “experts”, would put an end to the controversy. Alas, we do not live in a world dominated by robust arguments. We live in a world dominated by emotions, desire to “feel good”, and effeminacy galore.
Enjoy the reading.
Meet The Virus Slayer
The US economic data that came out today were a surprise of historic proportion.
The unemployment was at 14.7% last month, a historic high. It was expected to rise anywhere between 19% and 20%. the finance markets were bracing for a loss of 8m jobs.
It turned out differently.
The unemployment rate did not rise to 20%. It dropped to 13.3%.
The economy did not shed 8 million of jobs. It gained two and a half.
I think one day people will write that this is the day Biden knew (before he forgot again) that he had lost the election.
The Democrats tried to destroy Trump by accusing him of incompetence in dealing with the Coronavirus. He stunned the country with solid leadership and strong optimism. They failed.
The Democrats then tried to destroy him by destroying the economy. He gave them some space (too much, I think; but hey…) in order to avoid giving them the flank. He had sufficient courage to reopen before it was too late. They failed.
Then they tried to destroy him by destroying the entire country. He sent the national Guard to Minnesota, and threatened to do it elsewhere. They failed.
And now, this.
The economy is coming back with a vengeance. The next months will be characterised by a strong optimism as the economy races again. Bar big surprises, it will be firing on all cylinders by November.
Trump had seen it right. He had predicted, many times, that the economy would recover strongly, faster than most people expected. Today is his great vindication.
He went for the jugular, as always, giving a press conference. He destroyed the Democrat narrative whilst thanking them.
He stands tall now, with the economy soaring.
Not one person lacked a ventilator.
Meet the Virus Slayer.
My blood boils when I read the comments of the never happy, the professional Monday morning quarterbacks, the permanently grumpy losers, the people so stupid, or so absorbed in their perennial grievances, that they are unable to understand what great gift God made us with this man.
Support Trump. Support him with your friends, relatives, coworkers. See past the occasional intemperance, or the odd tweet. This Presidency is not about this.
This man is a giant. Forgive him his peccadilloes, and thank God that he, and not Hillary or Joe or Kamala or Beto, are leading the nation.
Good News From The Coronavirus Front
Well, it looks like Hollywood is going to take a big hit.
Yes, some of the losses will be recovered when the movie theatres reopen. Yes, the streaming services will allow to offset another part of the losses. Yes, the Hollyweird freak factory will continue to be interesting for many. But there is no denying that they are going to take a big hit this year.
This means less bonuses (or none at all) for big wig executives, less attractive pay packages for actors and directors and, more in general, a loss if influence as a lot less people (perhaps 40-50% less) are exposed to the garbage coming from there.
I know, this is also a bite to the economy. Sadly, it means loss of income for all those who would have been the recipients of the money spent by the characters described above. But if a hit it has to be, I prefer it to come from there.
We will have to see how the industry recovers and whether this may lead, to an extent, to a partial permanency of the losses once people get accustomed to do other things with their free time, or to just take the Hollywood freaks less seriously. Still, it seems to me that this is good news, and signals another little shift from the traditional channels of leftists propaganda to other, less manipulable mediums like internet news services and sensible you tube channels.
In the meantime, enjoy your rubbish-free spring.
Settled Science, Or: The Mask Resistance
Yours truly has decided to make a mini-study. The provisional results are published below.
The study consisted in the observation of a couple of hundred Brits, outside in the wild on a sunny afternoon.
The idea is that those who are really worried *will wear a mask*, and those who do not wear a mask *aren’t really fazed*. Note to you living abroad: there is no obligation to wear a mask in England.
The extremely scientific methodology ( = counting) resulted in a very scientific “range”; because this is what you do nowadays.
Between 2 and 3 percent of those sampled wore a mask. All the others really didn’t care. A cold, a suspected flu, or extreme ugliness might also have been a factor in the decision to wear a mask.
Peer review is currently ongoing, as my cat is looking at the data.
The conclusion is obvious: the Country at large does not care a dried fig for this hysteria, and it copes with it merely because, these parts, most people keep working, and earning, as usual. But if they were free to talk without being accused of wanting to kill Grandma Louise they would, when asked about all this, say “utter rubbish”.
The study will be published on Lancet soon, because they have published far less accurate studies already.
I am very proud of my contribution to the scientific community.
From now on, this will be “settled science”.
When People Are Being Ruled
Thanks to Thomas Burk, I have received this wonderful link showing, cough, The Resistance; but, this time, from the bench. I will quote it in its entirety because it is, besides being very informative, also quite funny. Emphases mine:
“Before I rule, I’m advising everybody in this room, no public outbursts or displays. The court is still in session until you are told otherwise.
Since the inception of this insanity, the following regulations, rules or consequences have occurred: I won’t get COVID if I get an abortion but I will get COVID if I get a colonoscopy. Selling pot is essential but selling goods and services at a family- owned business is not. Pot wasn’t even legal and pot dispensaries didn’t even exist in this state until five months ago and, in that five months, they have become essential but a family-owned business in existence for five generations is not.A family of six can pile in their car and drive to Carlyle Lake without contracting COVID but, if they all get in the same boat, they will. We are told that kids rarely contract the virus and sunlight kills it, but summer youth programs, sports programs are cancelled. Four people can drive to the golf course and not get COVID but, if they play in a foursome, they will. If I go to Walmart, I won’t get COVID but, if I go to church, I will. Murderers are released from custody while small business owners are threatened with arrest if they have the audacity to attempt to feed their families.
These are just a few of examples of rules, regulations and consequences that are arbitrary, capricious, and completely devoid of anything even remotely approaching common sense.
State’s attorneys in this state, county sheriffs, mayors, city councils and county boards have openly and publicly defied these orders followed by threats to withhold funding and revocation of necessary licenses and certifications unless you obey.
Our economy is shut down because of a flu virus with a 98 percent plus survival rate. Doctors and experts say different things weekly. The defendant cites models in his opposition. The only thing experts will agree on is that all models are wrong and some are useful. The Centers for Disease Control now says the virus is not easily spread on surfaces.
The defendant in this case orders you to stay home and pronounces that, if you leave the state, you are putting people in danger, but his family members traveled to Florida and Wisconsin because he deems such travel essential. One initial rationale why the rules don’t apply to him is that his family farm had animals that needed fed. Try selling that argument to farmers who have had to slaughter their herds because of disruption in the supply chain.
When laws do not apply to those who make them, people are not being governed, they are being ruled. Make no mistake, these executive orders are not laws. They are royal decrees. Illinois citizens are not being governed, they are being ruled. The last time I checked Illinois citizens are also Americans and Americans don’t get ruled. The last time a monarch tried to rule Americans, a shot was fired that was heard around the world. That day led to the birth of a nation consensually governed based upon a document which ensures that on this day in this, any American courtroom tyrannical despotism will always lose and liberty, freedom and the constitution will always win.”
Well, this made my day. It is a condensed exposition of the modern madness that has become the “permanent emergency” craze. In the US, this is driven by the Anti-Trump brigades, hoping that the misery will work against Trump in November. Elsewhere, it is simply lack of manliness, as millions of adult males accept to be kept at a very short leash by a nanny-mentality that can only emerge in a Country that thinks hat there is nothing wrong with being, as they say, gay.
Italy is now requesting the “services” of thousands of Karens to snitch on their own neighbours. This is nothing to do with Trump. This is the result of living near the petticoat of one’s mother for too long.
When people are being ruled, instead of governed, they need to share a part of the blame, too.
Allergies And Vaccines
No masses until we have a vaccine?
This is, apparently, what a “working group” for the Church in Scotland thinks.
It beggars belief.
People went to Mass during the Black Plague, during the world wars. They went to Mass under the bombs. They went to Mass in churches that had no roof, in the bitter cold. Now this bunch of girls want to be exempted from work until they are totally and completely assured that they are safe? They are stating it very clearly. At some point, they will make them reopen the churches. But work? Thanks, but no, thanks.
Please don’t tell me that it is to protect the faithful. Have they asked the faithful?
I think I will develop a very strong allergy to donations to the NO Church.
Then I will say that I will be glad to resume my donations, when a vaccine against my allergy is found.
This, I would say, is for everybody’s safety.
My allergy is very infectious, you know.
Breaking News: Minnesota’s Bishops Are Catholic!
Finally, finally, FINALLY, some Bishops remember that they are our shepherds, and start acting as Catholics.
The Bishops of Minnesota have decided to defy the orders of the local authorities and allow masses with attendance limited to one third of the usual capacity, rather than the absurd 10 people limit of their own earthly masters.
The quote below is such common sense that it should not have needed to be written, ever:
“It is now permissible for an unspecified number of people to go to shopping malls and enter stores, so long as no more than 50 percent of the occupancy capacity is reached. Big-box stores have hundreds of people inside at any one time, and the number of goods that are being handled and distributed in one store by many people—stock staff, customers, cashiers—is astounding. Workers are present for many hours per day, often in close proximity. There is no state mandate that customers wear masks in those malls or stores, wash their hands consistently, or follow any specific cleaning protocol,” the bishops wrote.
“An order that sweeps so broadly that it prohibits, for example, a gathering of 11 people in a Cathedral with a seating capacity of several thousand defies reason”
“In these circumstances, and given the well-researched protocols that we have proposed (and that are being followed successfully elsewhere in our nation) how can reason require us any longer to keep our faithful from the Eucharist?”
“full emergency until we are sure that no one dies E.V.E.R. A.G.A.I.N.!!!
Resistance
And it came to pass that yours truly, like everyone living in England (other parts of the UK are still in lockdown, at least officially), was able to actually get out, jump on his car and have a stroll where he pleases without fear of being harassed by the police.
Amazing, how easily freedom can be lost in the short term; but.. can it?
Amazing, too, how resilient people are, and how unwilling to be brainwashed by the Technodictatorship supported by cowardly Politicians.
You look around you, and you see a couple of interesting things.
- People really have had enough. Traffic is, if not normal, certainly approaching normality at least outside of rush hours. There are a lot people clearly strolling around merely in order to be strolling around.
- There is no trace of enforcement. I have seen, pretty much everywhere, people gathering in violation of the social distancing rules. I commend their behaviour. Mind, they seem to steer clear of people they don’t know. But among groups of friends, it’s business as usual at least on the street (try to find a decent pub for seating!).
- Only a minority of people wear masks. Perhaps it’s the warm weather, perhaps it’s how unpleasant they are to wear, perhaps it’s a reaction to the asphyxiating tyranny of the Nazi Nannies; but an awful, awful lot of people clearly do not want anything to do with masks, at least when on the street, buying groceries, etc.
- Those with the most refreshing behaviour are the youth. Groups of teenagers walking together at 8,10,12 at a time without any care for social distancing and not caring a straw for the police, it makes this old heart rejoice.
Suppressing liberties is not easy. Particularly so, when this comes together with widespread economic damage. People don’t give up elementary freedoms because some technocrat tell them so and the PM is too much of a wuss to actually make some sensible decision. They might comply for some weeks, if persuaded that it is absolutely necessary; but this kind of fish will start to stink pretty strongly, pretty fast. The youth seem to be the leading edge. Whether 10 or 17, White of Minority, boy or girl, no one really cares a straw.
Let us hope it continues this way, and the general social distancing madness (including the closure of pubs, restaurants, entertainment venues etc) ends because of the silent rebellion of the sensible, hard-working, tax-paying people.
If we wait for Boris, obscure petty tyrants will run us all for who knows how long.
Cupich: How To Keep Churches Closed Whilst Pretending To Open Them
Cardinal Cupich has, as we know, really been outdoing himself. I have read a very good rebuttal to his nonsense.
The linked article is here.
The mean quote is this one:
With the stroke of a pen, Cardinal Cupich has blithely yielded the Authority of the Church and subjugated the primacy of her worship to laws of man which are being successfully challenged by other denominations. In doing so, he replaces what has been heroically defended for thousands of years with the absurd perception that the Mass and the Sacraments are less necessary and more potentially dangerous than grocery stores, gas stations, hardware stores, take-out restaurants, laundries, the postal service, and construction trades,
This states very beautifully what I have maintained in a number of posts: our alleged shepherds have become so sold to the laws of man, so utterly oblivious of the value and, well, sacredness of the Sacraments, that they find the virus a wonderful occasion to show how much they are part of the world, sold to its virtue-signalling, and actually better than us, backward Catholics.
Another good quote:
the government is not the one forcing a certification process on our churches. Cardinal Cupich has taken this upon himself,
Unbelievable, but true. Like the gayest fool of all, Cardinal Cupich takes it on himself to go beyond what the local regulations, and his own Bishops’ Conference, state, and decides to embark in a petty tyrant crusade, in order for the world to see how Catholicism-free he has become, and how sold he is to those who hate the Church.
The limit of 10 people to Mass is clearly of Satan. It is just a way to keep the churches factually closed, and the access to the sacraments denied, whilst a flimsy pretence of keeping them, formally, “open” allows to try to avoid criticism.
Well, it makes sense. If you were, say, a Satanist, and were in charge of the decision whether to reopen the churches, but you know that people expect them to be reopened, what would you do? Why, to have a merely symbolic “10 people per Mass” opening would be the perfect answer, wouldn’t it? Mind, I do not say that Cardinal Cupich is, in fact, a satanist. I don’t know whether he is. What I am saying is that he has made a decision that a Satanist would find smart, and conducive to the results he wants to achieve.
Such, my friends, is the state of the Church in the early XXI century. When your Cardinals are so concerned with everything, but Christ and His Church.
Please, dear readers, do not call the chancery and if you do, pay attention how you speak to the switchboard operator on the phone, particularly if she is very saintly.
We do not want to give the Cardinal the excuse for the usual deflection.
Deflections, Or: The Bishop, The Trads, And The Saintly Switchboard Operator.
I think I should say a word or two about the mounting controversy about the Bishop, The Trads, and The Saintly Switchboard Operator.
First things first: Bishop Stika is The Gayest Fool Of All. He is (I have already written this, but repetita iuvant) a Christ hating Bishop.
Stop for a moment and reflect on what must happen in the mind of a Bishop who goes above and beyond the already cowardly attitude of his Bishops’ conference and gives a public order to deny communion on the tongue. Really, we are talking here of stuff who would not have been believed, would have been considered an absurd, and not even funny, joke only two generations ago.
What we have here is a Bishop who self-appoints himself as the ultimate health expert and pretends to “protect” his flock from this most dangerous practice, the reception of Our Lord as this has always been practiced in the history of the Church before the Age Of Effeminacy. It really is beyond stupid, it goes into the realm of outright insult to the Sacrament. The fact that the Bishop pretends not to see it (I think he does it very well) goes to show what an irrelevance Christ has become in his eyes, and how great is his need to signal virtue and to show how very aligned he is with the current madness. What do I say, aligned? He wants to show that he is better than everybody else!
Truly, this is of Satan, and no discussion allowed.
Still, what I want to discuss today is a trick used by liberals, women, and more or less gay bishops all over the world: the deflection. The Bishop complains that the angry trads have insulted his own telephone operator, who is so saintly and has just lost her husband! What cruel Nazis these trads are!
Give me a break.
Firstly, the saintliness of the operator is nothing to do with the facts at hand, and is merely an emotional handle to make people look bad, or worse than bad. It is certainly wrong to abuse anybody on the phone who is innocent of denying communion on the tongue to faithful Catholics who actually care for Christ and the Sacraments. But this is wrong irrespective of the saintliness of the person abused. This is a deflection.
Secondly, I very much doubt that said, saintly switchboard operator said to the person or persons on the phone, “my dear Sir, can you please kindly consider that I am not only a saintly person, but have recently lost my husband?” Consequently, the sad bereavement of the saintly operator should really not be part of the conversation. This is, also, a deflection.
But the third, and most important, deflection is this: the Bishop should have addressed the matter at hand, instead of throwing mud on his critics by lamenting an episode totally unrelated to it. We all know there will always be the occasional intemperate person, and we all know this controversy is not about that.
This deflection and accusation of rudeness is, by the way, the passive aggressive stuff often seen in women: “blablablabla HE WAS RUDE!!! blablablabla”. The issue at hand is not addressed; but hey, you are supposed to lose, because you hurt her feelings.
Bishop Stika is doing exactly this; albeit, being born with, at least physically, manly attributes, he needs a saintly switchboard operator to get his desired deflection.
In my eyes, Bishop Stika should do the following:
- Get real for a moment and reflect that people who are angry at him, and perhaps even people who – wrongly, of course – abuse the saintly receptionist on the phone, do so because they love Christ, His Church and Her Sacrament vastly more than the Bishop will ever be able to understand, and his behaviour makes their blood boil.
- Get real again, grow some figurative balls to go together with the physical ones, announce urbi et orbi that he has made a mistake, and make clear that his diocese will henceforward follow the guidelines of the Bishops’ Conference, without any of that gay, virtue-signalling stuff. He lives in Kentucky, for crying out loud. There will be no liberal revolution.
But no. It had to be the effeminate “y’all are so, so, sooo rude” non-answer.
Greta, “Science”, And The Virus
The most famous retard on the planet, Greta Thunberg, has been interviewed by CNN, desperately trying to keep the climate change hoax relevant in times in which people have real worries to deal with.
The poor girl, being intellectually challenged, went right into the involuntary trap of “science”, expressing her hope that after the Chinese Virus people will listen more to scientists and experts.
I am sorry to disappoint you, child. What is about to happen is that people will listen to “scientist and experts” less than they do now.
The Chinese Virus is a perfect example of a small cabal of non elected people thinking they have the right to run an entire planet, and trying to force said planet into the tyrannical dystopia they have decided is good for them. They saw that entire Countries reacted with moving solidarity to the request made to them to put in place difficult measures for a short while, and they thought that this meant that these populations could be run by their nose like a huge, dumb ox. It is clear now that this attempt failed miserably, and left much more people sceptical of these petty tyrants than before.
Poor Greta (though I suspect she will not stay poor for very long; not if she listens to Al Gore…) is very deluded if she thinks that this Chinese Virus mess helps her. It actually helps us against her and her tribe of deranged Enviroretards, as more and more people understand the vast lack of proportion between a limited chance of disease and virtually unlimited economic devastation and oppression of the most elementary freedoms.
When the first emergency has ended, and the economic suffering starts unfolding in all its tragic dimension, the number of those who want to scream when they hear the name “Greta” telling them how to kill their own livelihood will rapidly increase. Common sense will gain ground. More and more people will start asking themselves what sense does it make to have your freedoms and finances, and your entire life, dominated by this bunch of lunatics and by the very expensive and painful reaction to purely hypothetical and fantasised dangers.
The time of common sense is coming back rapidly, and Greta will not like it.
Fatima: The Bishops Have Become The Enemies Of The Church
Look, it has already happened that the public authorities show hostility to Catholicism. In the end, the children of Fatima were detained in 1917 (August, if memory serves) exactly in order to prevent them from seeing the Blessed Virgin appearing to them!
This time, though, things are fundamentally different. It is not only that 3,500 soldiers have been mobilised, just days after the 1st May celebrations were allowed! It is that all this happens with the consent and complicity of the Bishops!
When Pius XIII becomes Pope, I hope he does not allow a single one of these world-worshipping little cowards to stay in charge. What we are witnessing is the almost complete emasculation, the almost complete (so-called) church-of-england-isation of Holy Mother Church; and truly, only Her indefectibility will save Her from the extinction to which, otherwise, this bunch of spineless homos would condemn her.
I don’t know what is next. Very probably, the Bishops applauding the arrest of those who might dare to show up, soldiers and all.
I really wouldn’t be surprised.
The Gayest Fool Of All
Let us say, you are a Bishop who hates Christ, for reasons known to you and, possibly, to a restricted number of other men only.
You are obviously terrified at the idea of masses resuming more or less regularly, and faithful Christian receiving on the tongue, as even the Bishops’ Conference of your own Country says you should be allowed to do.
What do you do?
Why, you show yourself oh so concerned for the health of everybody, of course! This allows you to create rules that no one else has and a fuss without precedent, which then makes it easier to justify banning Communion on the tongue.
You might release instructions like this one:
- The faithful who present themselves for communion on the tongue will be denied communion.
- Those who want to receive in the only way allowed (the Protestant/ V Ii one) get the following instruction: “Once you leave your pew/chair you will proceed single file (maintaining 6 feet apart) to the distribution point,” Stika wrote. “Immediately before you reach the distribution point you will remove your protective face mask placing it in your pocket and sanitize your hands with 70% alcohol-based sanitizing gel/solution (which will be on a small table directly in front of the distribution point). “Standing on the floor-marked X (or kneeling at the 6-foot marked locations along the communion rail), you will extend your arms and hands toward the priest/deacon with the palm of your non-writing hand facing up and completely flat supported by your writing hand,”
You will, of course, look like a total fag, which will possibly not displease you at all. Still, you will achieve your trifecta of virtue signaling, antagonising the true faithful, and enmity with Christ.
“But Mundabor, Mundabor!” – You might say – “This is too dumb even for satire! No bishop would be as thick as that!”
You would think that, wouldn’t you?
I have bad news for you: read here.
Capitalism And The Vatican Museums
The Vatican Museums have announced they will reopen soon.
Masks, distances, temperature checks, the usual stuff. Nothing really bothersome considering that on the days when you have to pay to get in, the museums are not packed at all and distancing is easy peasy.
A lot can be done, even in the time of madness, to allow for a somewhat normal life. Thermometers are cheap to buy. Masks are extremely cheap and, if it’s the only way to get your structure open, so be it. But even the Vatican recognises that life must go back to some form of normality soon-ish and, actually, now.
Look, we can discuss a long time about this stuff with the masks. I have been out walking with and without mask. Most people had no mask, and it did not bother me one bit. No one coughed carelessly. Everyone behaved responsibly. It has come to the point (and it is sad to say so) that one now keeps his distance quite automatically.
Even in those Countries where it is fashionable to still be oh so concerned, the powers that be need to recognise that most activities can reopen, with some easy and sensible precaution, now.
The economy cannot stop.
Even those in charge at the Vatican Museums recognise it.
