A graceful and reassuring presence on every occasion. A symbol of a country now rapidly disappearing, in which one’s feeling of duty comes before one’s personal satisfaction. Extremely scrupulous in fulfilling her role, but able to take a stance when her scandalous daughter-in-law was about to be canonised by the bout of hysteria of a brainless generation.
