Very Gullible, Or Plain Dumb: The West Faces Reality.

I haven’t written about THE Ukraine for a while now, and I think my faithful readers are due a little update.

The fact is, the slow collapse is going on, but it is going on in a way that promises to let many Westerners asleep for a while. The mainstream media now admit without any sense of shame, and without apologising to their remaining readers, that THE Ukraine is not retaking the territories lost to Russia. This statement alone should cause many millions of heads to explode in the West, considering what they have been fed by the propaganda all the time. Instead, people seem to oscillate between indifference, tiredness and more indifference.

Losers aren’t popular, and when they are corrupt (in the West they still don’t know about the Nazism) they are even more unpopular.

Zelensky now needs a mobilisation giving him another half a million of poor men and boys to send to the slaughter. The problem is, the Country does not want it. So, Zelenski needs to find someone to organise it. Zaluzhny denied he has asked for 500,000, or that it is his job to say how many. Now Zelenski wants to sack him, in the slowest-motion dismissal ever witnessed. Zaluzhny, who is much smarter, first refuses to go, then considers going out of the scene so that others have the ungrateful task to lose the war. When the war is lost, he might come back as the guy who was still fighting valiantly, and whose ousting was instrumental in the defeat.

Meanwhile, things are going bad at the front. “Shell hunger” is a word now, and it seems the reason why Avdeevka is being taken one slice at a time, like a huge Nazi Salami. The US money is still not forthcoming. The EU money will not buy weapons. The F16s (whom I would really love to see against their Russian counterparts) have the slight problem that the air bases of destination have been relentlessly bombed by the Russians, so it’s like having a sports car in a potato field.

The simple fact on the ground is: the average Westerner, at this point, confusedly understands that he has been lied to all the time, from the very start. However, this vague recollection is very harsh for him to accept. Therefore, he prefers to simply ignore it as he looks for the next flag to put near his name on social media.

The slow collapse is going on. I think it will not end in a bang. It will end on page 9 of the newspapers, ignored by the readers who don’t want to stop and look at what has been done to them, at the way the relentless propaganda has made of them willing sheep, bleating at the order of their governments and paying through the nose for the privilege. For some, like Germany, the deterioration of the Country’s competitiveness will be a much bitter price to pay than just the uncomfortable realisation that one is, simply put, very gullible, or plain dumb.

And this is, in the end, the lesson. A dumb multitude accepted to be manipulated by a small number of warmongering idiots and corrupted officials, for the sake of feeling good with themselves. They are now trying not to look too hard, lest they discover they are children in the kindergarten.
